The Praxis really IS a basic test. My guess is the problem is arithmetic (the only mathematics the Praxis tests), the argument about "getting rid of all barriers" is a DEI one, and the solution is to make teaching possible for competent people again by re-establishing academic standards, pulling behavior problems from the classroom into special classes (or out of school, or into special schools), and, of course, reordering society so provide more fathers, fewer mothers, across-the-boards behavior standards that everyone understands, discipline for rule-breakers, and rewards for achievement. Sure.
The teacher’s union loves this because they just want more teachers paying union dues.. But I hear that test is not hard at all. If you can’t pass it after maybe two tries, then you likely don’t need to be a teacher…..
