1.Imperial in University Challenge 1995-6: First Round Match against St Andrews

First round match against St. Andrews. I did OK relatively speaking in this round (note confident answers on palaeobiology) , but in absolute terms neither team did well and there is no hint here of the success that was to come for Imperial. Highlights include the cosmic squirrel and a St Andrews medic beating me to the structure of glucose (but that meant I didn't have to show my ignorance on the three bonus structures)!
Note that the sound drops out for a minute or so half way through, for reasons that are unclear, but soon starts up again.

Generally we watch UC for answering questions with the contestants - and for that purpose the quality is just fine :-)
