Hello there, well the determination of which rotating direction the signal is polarized is in the two connections on the waveguide tube itself. The connections are at 90 degrees to each other and if I hook the transmit to one and the receive to the other it will be for example right hand polarized.. If I reverse the cables to the connections then it will be reversed, left hand polarized.. The bolt adjustments are the setup to make it circular polarized instead of it having two linear ants at 90 degrees to each other... The signal coming out of the feed opening is rotating in a circular direction and every time it reflects off a surface like the dish reflector or the moons surface, this rotation will be reversed.. So you have to hook up the cables to the feed horn ant so that when it goes through all the rotation reversals, you wind up with the correct direction at the other end.. Skip
