Easy Red 2 is better at evoking that classic "hop in and play for fun" feel of the 2000s WW2 FPS games like Battlefield 1942. There's no grinding/rankings/lootboxes to psychologically stress you toward another brief dopamine shot. The game is just fun in an honest way. And as a result, the multiplayer community, while small, is super chill. Easy Red 2's AI is much better because it has to be viable in single player, so the bots are a core part of the simulation experience rather than just extra targets for players to grind XP while not feeling bad about K/D ratios. Easy Red 2's small dev team is very responsive, listens to feedback on Steam and Discord, and constantly updates the game. It's basically unrecognizable compared to what it was at launch. The main things I think Enlisted does better are graphics and having an insane amount of guns to use, many of which, from a gameplay perspective, are unfortunately redundant and just add to the already tedious grind. Also, because of its larger player base, and because its bots follow the player around rather than act independently, it's easier to have a PvP experience in Enlisted if that's what you're looking for. I heartily recommend Easy Red 2 to my friends because of its low cost of entry, and so far it's been a hit. I'm excited to see how the game continues to develop and expand. I can't say the same about Enlisted so long as its grind remains so time-consuming and punishing for new players.
I feel like the year of birth to year of death feature is really cool, and it kinda puts into perspective how brutal WW2 really was and how so many were so young. I don't think it would work well with Enlisted though, unless there was a gamemode where every spawn is random squads with random equipment and random names. Like you may spawn as the 101st airborne and have Thompsons, and when that squad gets wiped it's replaced in the rotation by the 1st Infantry division and have M1 Garands. And maybe they could add in some British units with Stens and Lee-Enfields. Now that I think about it that would be really cool, and could give new players a chance to use some of the higher end weapons without having to pick them up. Okay this comment got a lot longer than previously anticipated, but if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them.
I can't wait for Easy Red 2 to be released on consoles but that might happen at the end of the year because the dev is waiting for approval from Microsoft
Yeah but have you seen the early footage of this game, it was not that great to be honest, but that just goes to show how amazing the dev is and how much effort he will put in the game, so you do have a great point but early in this games development i personally would prefer enlisted but now I would take easy red two all day lol

I really Love the News Normandy Easy red2 Dlc, all of the Missions are really fun(Especially the paratrooper mechanic IS very cool)! And playing it feels Always so cinematic! I think more people should try Easy red 2👍🏾

When I was younger I was playing a strategy game called D-Day (2004). Now I got real nostalgia because in that game the Raid on Pegasus Bridge looked exactly like this. So it means they made their research to make the place authentic as possible which makes me really happy.
