Fun fact, when they were building Ocean ( at that time called Revel), there was supposed to be a second tower. The project wound up going bankrupt, and they only did one tower. Go in the parking lot, it is HUGE! It was supposed to be for twice the amount of cars.
Ocean is by far the most beautiful property, but it comes at a cost. Their machines are the tightest in AC, in my experience. Borgata is where the winning happens. Best of luck and have a great trip, Matt
Another great finish on day two. Nice that she had 15 buffalo heads for the second time. You have me by one. I’m still waiting for my second 15 heads. I have not been to oceans yet. I’ll have to do that on a future trip. I like the hard rock themed hotels and casinos, I am one hour and 22 minutes into my trip on to three cheers, my friend

I live right outside of AC. I teach at the college in AC and still hardly ever go to the casinos. I just can’t see giving them my hard earned money. I did enjoy watching you though.

I don't know much about A.C. is Taj Mahal still there? Kudos on showing restraint, it's a long trip indeed. Ocean looks amazing, I could sit in one of those lobby chairs and stare out at the ocean for hours (drink in hand, of course). Nice win on the Wonder 4!

Also, Tropicana is not owned by Caesars, they have a weird arrangement with the marketing of hotel rooms through Caesars and also the casino floor. Penn National owns the Trop in AC, but not the Trop in Vegas. So confusing indeed.
This is incorrect. The property is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties, which is a real estate investment trust. It is leased to Caesars Entertainment. This happened about 3 years ago.
Bally's is no longer owned by Caesars. It is owned by Bally's formally known as Twin River Gaming. Twin River bought the Bally's trademark from Caesars. This is one of the reasons Bally's Las Vegas has been rebranded as Horseshoe. To make things even more confusing, Tropicana Las Vegas is operated by Bally's. All of the Tropicannas in the US except Las Vegas had previously been operated by El Dorado and became part of Caesars when El Dorado took over.
No, AC is often described as a dump by those who get their information second or third hand. It is a lot of fun with great restaurants, a beach in the summer, 9 casinos. There are many local bars and restaurants that are a nice diversion away from the casinos.

I didn't get any drinks in Tropicana but they would be free if you were gambling. I tend to tip $2 or $3 per drink.
