@@frenchkaiser28 i think it is because of his mouth which is not much open(?) when singing 😭 there's one episode that boa said that yushi should open his mouth more when singing. but still i think he did a great job, almost all of the artists director every mission give yushi a compliment. even boa said that her favorite is yushi. but now yushi debuted in nct wish i think he shows more facial expression than before! 😁 not really good at explaining but i hope it helps (it's just based on my opinion pls don't come at me huhu)
@frenchkaiser28 the thing is, the judges/artist directors look more at the technicalities of their performance than the facial expressions. if you've seen their afrolex performance, yushi was praised because he was on beat and sion seemed like he was rushing to the next move (i think it was boa who said it.) i was even surprised when the judges praised yushi more because i thought sion did better because of his facial expressions. so yeah, the judges/professionals see things differently.
Yushi and Sion have trained hard 5/4 years to debut and they totally deserve to have a 2023 debut. NCTzens disappoint me with their ego and negativity. Hopefully this unit debuts with a clean fandom away from the negative toxic fans that ignored them and commented bad about them. They're already so good vocally, the music will be so good
that's why I chose not to associate with that miserable fandom, they're always trying so hard to be edgy. they always have something negative to say, like when nct 2023 was announced. they said they don't want it and they should boycott it. but look at them now, they are actually excited about the new NTC U line-ups. watch them do the same to nct tokyo. after badmouthing these boys, they'll say "oh he's actually cute, I'll adopt him". 💀💀
@Slayeranime still, that is not a reason to beef with nct tokyo. these boys literally did nothing wrong and should not be blamed for sm's actions. i was also really mad and hurt with what sm did. but i never took my anger out with these trainees because they, too, are victims of sm's sh*tty decision making.

@ayayoya1945 no. originally, 4 trainees were supposed to be chosen to debut alongside Yushi and Sion (confirmed NCT members). but in the 7th episode, they changed the number of members, and now they have 7 peoole in the NCT Japan/Tokyo unit.
this performance truly changed the trajectory of my life and converted me into a tokyozen. yushi was the one who totally blew me away. i didn't expect him to slay so hard.

Kudos to Sion and Yushi for doing their best in every performances. The fact that they need to practice and perform 2 songs every week must have been really exhausting for them yet they're still two of the top performers per songs. My bet to complete their debut unit would be Riku, Jungmin, and Anderson. I still can't think of who to choose for the last spot yet. But these three should definitely be included.
