The Nocturnal restocks in May, together with the release of the Nearly Neutral pallete (a doodlesbythebunny collab). And yes, they said they press their mattes harder from now on 💚
Is it an actual collab or did she design the cover? I think she did the cover but not the inside but I’m not 100%

This is probably my favourite colour story I have seen in years. Even down to the understated beautiful green packaging.

I like that the color scheme is inspired by photos taken at night, rather than more classical dark blues and purples et silver. I really love the greens and yellow !

Every time I look at this palette, I just see the Shroud Cosmetics "It's Freakin Bats" palette ??? that cant just be me right ???? ugh if this werent so dang expensive to get to me id be all over it.
I really like this palette but it reminded me too much of Its Freakin Bats palette just more shades. I really wanna try this brand though theyre products do look amazing ✨
This color story speaks to my soul! I bought it the second it went live and I have 11 of their newest multichromes coming too. Can't wait to get them! I got my Sandra Rose mini last week and it's amazing and will keep me busy until it all arrives. Glaminatrix is one of my favorite brands ever since I first tried my You Beauty palette. She has an eye for color stories and the quality of the shadows is incredible. I'm even excited for the neutral palette that's coming out next and I'm definitely not normally into neutrals.

The silent night palette is amazing, I have to say. I do wish they made it a recurring yearly palette though, it's the perfect festive palette and I want more people to be able to enjoy it, I use it so often

In an email I received she said she has taken that feedback on board and will hopefully fix that issue before the preorders are sent out. I can’t wait 😅

Such a stunning palette I picked this up as soon as they spoke of it disappearing. Its a stunning colorstory. Think thats what I love most about glaminatrix they do amazing at colorstories along with shimmers. Loved both looks so pretty on you ❤. I believe I had a shade come broken as well.

Can’t wait for it to restock! This palette has my favorite colors in it 💚 and the shimmers are stunning! Which is definitely the most important thing: sparkly intense shimmers
I'm so excited to get mine. The owner said she pressed the mattes a bit more in this palette than previous releases so I was curious how it would change their wearabiliy in comparison to her previous palettes. I always look forward to your reviews Annette :)

Huh. When I first saw the pre-release shots of this palette, I thought that I already owned it because some shades look similar to the It's Feakin' Bats palette and to the gold tones of the Sidney Grace Valentine's Day palette, but now that I see the swatches, I see that my perception was wrong. I need to give it a think because it is really, really pretty, and moreover, entirely different from palettes I already own.
Fyi y’all I was away from my home for almost a year and a half and my Sandra rose (the og) was patiently waiting for me. When I opened it 3 of the shadows were pulverized and impossible to repress. I took a chance and got a hold of glaminatrix. she sent the three shades that week with her apologies. So not only a company with great shadows but also great Cust Serv 😁

This is as if the it’s freaking bats palette and the subculture palette had a child. So pretty!
When I ordered Glamatrix natural palette I didn’t pay that much shipping, even with 10 percent for 55 dollar palette it’s say total 106.00 dollars. That can’t be right.

I’ve also unsubscribed to the TH-camrs that promote palettes that are NEVER available. Amy Loves Makeup is another one. No offense to you guys but the videos are pointless if we can’t purchase them. Sorry because I enjoy your videos.
Well, its really not the brands fault tho. These brands are usually run by just one or two people who do everything from their own house. They dont have warehouses yet or can afford to pay people to work for them. Totally fine if u dont want to buy from them, but this is what they have to do to get to the point where they can outsource and get help. It sucks for us as influencers too to promote brands that rarely have stock, but their products are so amazing, that its usually worth the wait. Also i hope these videos can just be seen as inspiration to create similar looks with what you already own instead of it just being a review. Idk, its a tough balance on all ends 🤷🏼♀️

Everyone gets broken shades with this makeup brand lol. Hopefully they send out replacement palettes
She is incredibly responsive to feedback and based on that she has already reformulated that first shade so that it is pressed harder in the pan to cut down on breakage and she is going to be mixing the other shimmers more so that they are less chunky/flaky. That is why she sent the influencer palettes out first, to get feedback and make any necessary changes to make it better before she makes customer palettes so that we get the best shadow possible. I appreciate that. But Australia is literally half a world away from me so sometimes a shadow will get broken in transit and she always replaces the broken ones (the pans are magnetic so it's easy to pop the new one right in).
@@Superfreaky1RU I wow, I didn't know that. I never bought from this company because every time I see a review the palette arrives broken, lol. Is the new formula as good as the original though? Is the color the same? I wonder....... If every palette breaks, why can't she just make shades that don't break period and drop the. palette before selling it so that she knows whether it breaks? Seems like it would save folks a lot of time and aggravation.
@@ashleygeorge2901 The color is exactly the same, just the process is different so that it's a little more hard pressed into tbe pan. She could make shadows that don't ever break, but you'd hate using them because they'd be so hard pressed that you wouldn't be able to pick any up on a brush or even a finger. Shadows that aren't pressed as hard are more pigmented and more blendable but cause kickup in the pan and break more easily. Brands walk that fine line between the two trying to make shadows that are pigmented and blendable while still being somewhat sturdy. Because no one ever walked in Ulta saying they wanted a strong unbreakable shadow, but they do go in asking for pigmented, blendable ones. And that, unfortunately, always comes with the risk of breakage.
I love your channel and content but I hate when I see reviews but then you can’t get the products . It’s like I don’t want to watch this bc if I like it I want to be able to purchase . If these companies are sending you influencers pr keep up with your stock so regular consumers can purchase .
Yea i get that. Its not that easy tho. They are an extremely small brand run by just a couple of people. They simple cant make and store the amount of palettes needed to always have stock
It's only the first pre-order that has sold out. This will be restocked in May/June and is going to be a permanent palette. It's not gone forever.
I freaking love Annette's makeup corner eyeshadow looks!
I just get a little discouraged when I miss out on these really cool eyeshadow palettes because I'm not 100% focused on the releases all the time, so I can get them in time. I will just enjoy other people using them for now.
I think it's annoying when indie brands "sell out" so quickly or any brands, because they are handing them out like candy to all the influencers that use them 2 or 3 times before adding them to their stock pile to sit & expire. I wont sign up to wait around for this when something else will come out just as good or better & this will be old news by then.. thank you "bows"
For handmade palettes like this sending out PR serves a purpose beyond marketing. Based on the feedback she got from the influencer reviews, she has reformulated that shimmer that everyone got broken so it's harder pressed in the pan to cut down on breakage and she is going to be mixing the other shimmers more so that they are a little less chunky/flaky than in these palettes. So while influencers got their palettes first, ours will be better. And I would take better every time! As far as selling out so quickly, it's because she limits each preorder to only 500 palettes to try to cut down on preorder wait times. If she didn't she could end up in a similar situation Shroud was in with the It's Freaking Bats palette where people waited for 9 months for their palettes. But regardless she has hired someone so wait times should start to decline soon if you wanted to try one. But maybe it sounds like you should only buy from large indie brands that can afford to make or order their products ahead of launches and have lots of stock on hand, like Oden's Eye, Kaleidos, Nomad, or Give Me Glow. But if you're looking for a brand that doesn't send out PR to influencers at all, I'm afraid you are going to have a very small makeup collection. They all do it. Indie and non indie alike.

I hear you, it’s actually not about being pretentious from my understanding. And I think Glaminatrix spoke well on this issue on their instagram. It mostly has to do with funding for a collection rather than trying to gatekeep a product. That is my understanding of the sell out/pre-order situation that often occurs with indie brands. small brands usually cannot scale the market like large brands can, that is why many brands (that are not independent brands) rely on incubators like Seed Beauty, which have scalability & established relationships with the manufacturers that can handle large and small orders.
