Today I am going to show u how to make prawns or shrimp pulao in pressure cooker a quick recipe of prawns rice in only 10 minutes, it is very simple recipe yet delicious one pot meals, rice recipes, it is also called kolbi or kolmabi bhat in marathi , jhinga recipe in hindi, with english subtitles, do give us a like share and subscribe thanks
ingredients
500 grams prawns (de skinned 350 grams)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric
salt to taste
1/2 medium lemon juice
350 grams rice
2 medium onion sliced
cloves cardomons
cinnamon pepper
corn bay leaf and mace
1 medium tomato
1 tsp ginger garlic
chopped green chillies
chopped coriander and mint
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
salt as per rice
few drops lemon juice
freshly grated coconut
or
fried onions
method
marinate prawns with ginger paste red chilli powder cumin powder turmeric salt lemon juice for 15 minutes
1. heat oil in pressure cooker add whole spices cloves cardomons cinnamon pepper corn bay leaf and mace once the flavour releases in oil and sliced onions fry until light golden
2. add ginger garlic paste chopped green chilli coriander mint leaves tomato red chilli powder coriander powder fry well until tomatoes are soft oil separates out
3. add marinated prawns fry 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame add water 1 and half times to rice add green chilli coriander mint leaves once water starts boiling add washed and 10 minutes soaked rice mix well squeeze lemon juice few drops
4. close lid pressure cook 1 whistle on high heat then simmer 3 to 4 minutes then off flame cool then open cooker
prawns pulao is ready to serve
