The environment and climate change are top of mind for Millennials and Gen Z. What other environment-related careers are you interested in learning more about?

Hye, I am from India. I recently finished my masters in environmental Sciences. How can I become an environment lawyer without doing llb? Is there any other carrier path?

To become a lawyer in the U.S. you need to complete a JD degree and pass a Bar exam in the state you would like to practice law. At that point you can choose to "specialize" in environmental law by working for a firm that focuses on that. I'm not sure what the process is like in India - sorry! Here is more U.S. specific info: www.bls.gov/ooh/legal/lawyers.htm#:~:text=Becoming%20a%20lawyer%20usually%20takes,American%20Bar%20Association%20(ABA).

Hi There! Kelly explains in the video how she strategically chose a law school in an area with ample environmental law positions for after graduation. At the moment, it seems D.C. and NYC are the best job markets for this specific practice. Thanks for watching!

Attorneys serve a purpose but working as a lawyer is way overrated compared to what the pay person believes that it is.
