Thanks for the comment! I haven’t been able to make videos for a while now but getting back into it shortly. I hope to have some new content up soon. Thanks for watching!
Love this video! I’ve rewatched it a few times now with your other videos 😊 I’m currently debating the SD v Ally - leaning towards the Ally as Star Wars titles are a must (battlefront2 if you want to test it?) and the EA loader seems to place the Ally as the better option
Thanks so much for the kind words. Apologies for the extreme delay in response, I haven’t been able to get back to TH-cam for a while. Getting back into it now. Which one did you choose? Both have their pros and cons, the ally definitely has the horsepower for the higher end games. I still love my SD though, enough that I bought the OLED as well.
@@HandHeldGamingReviewsno problem! I can as convinced on the Ally as I play a lot of non-steam titles which I heard the SD struggles with. When I made my mind up, the Ally X had been announced so I had the choice of buy the X, or wait to see what discounts are put on the older Ally 😂 I went with for an X as got 5% off
I’ve been playing Ally a lot more recently, but the steam deck is a smoother experience, especially for older titles. The screen on the Ally really pops which I think is why I’ve been using it more. I think if I had the steam deck OLED, that might be my go to. I’ve just got my hands on a Legion Go to try out as well.
I’ll let you know once I get one! I think it really depends on what you’re planning to play on it, if you’re happy with less demanding titles, the steam deck is far more user friendly if you’re not used to windows gaming. The Ally has been a lot easier than the Legion Go to update bios etc, not a drama if you’re already used to PC gaming, but might be a little daunting for someone coming in from the console space. I should add, if you’re after more grunt and wanting to play new releases, you’ll probably have more luck with the Ally. I’ve travelled a lot with both, whenever there is a new title I want to play, or there’s something on game pass I’m interested in, they Ally is my go to.
@@mettaalpha8551 sorry for the super late response. I actually own both now, the SteamDeck OLED is awesome. It really comes down to if Xbox gamepasss or games that have anti cheat are important to you. I love the SD OLED and think Steam OS is a better overall experience.
@@HandHeldGamingReviews as sad as it is to say bacause i really love the game, yes, survivor runs really bad. mostly because of the frame rate as the game it self is very fun, but the frame rate problems this game has is really holding it back from being the game it should be. Anyway! great video! keep up the good work!
just got a ROG ALLY this will be my goto channel on how games run and perform. thank you for all your hard work.

Battery life on the ally with 15w 720p 60fps medium setting
What do you like better rog alley or steam dex?

@@HandHeldGamingReviews so you would buy a steam dex oled over rog ally?
