      @@bobjames6622 Of course I do. However if you read my comment carefully you will see that I wrote "I can only hope that things have improved since then". By this I meant I hoped things had improved since 1970 which was the year in which this documentary was made.

      Watch a few vids of Ireland in the same era, to see the hypocrisy in your comment, for yourself.

      ​@@Drifty40True, the southern state was also terrible. But it was also much poorer a country than the UK. Shouldn't the conditions have been better in the UK because it was a richer country?

      The working class areas in England, Scotland and Wales were all similar.
      This was life in that era for the working class. It wasn't selectively confined to Northern Ireland. Therefore rendering your comment redundant.
