This was played at my retirement ceremony from the Navy in 2014. I still remember it like yesterday!!!
Thank you for your service
I'm an odd ball. I'm a 25 year old, but I love everything about this country. I don't always understand what the majority of the people do, but I love the nature, I love the ability to change stuff up, and I love the rebellious attitudes that have permeated this nation since 1776. God bless every one of y'all, and may we move forward to an ever more prosperous and developed future!
Thank you Ray Charles for this wonderful rendition about our blessed America.
Ray Charles is an inspiration to all of us.
This song will always remind me of The Sandlot when they play the night game. Best patriotic song for 7/4.
Hoooaaah.
God Bless America.
God Bless Ray Charles.
If this don't light your fire, your woods wet
Just lost my father a veteran a legend a hero god bless us
My condolences. Thank you for lending your father to us. Hero will be remembered but Legends never die. Remember that sir.
The heart and soul that this one Man possessed was above all others. There wasn't another that came even close, and that's why no one ever asked "Is this Ray Charles singing this song" If they had, I hope they were directed back to the rock from which they came. Mr. Ray Charles The Beautiful! There will never be another. R.I.P. Brother Ray! Thank You for all that you gave us.
I was invited by the Philadephia Phillies to sing it on 9/11/2018 & 2019 !! th-cam.com/video/tqAy4nxHf2I/w-d-xo.html

Thank you, Lord, for our beautiful America, the beautiful! Forgive us, Father for our ingratitude
Arguably one of the best, most soulful voices ever.
Agreed!
This song makes me weep for what we've lost. I'm praying it will be restored.
Such a beautiful song. Democracy was saved yesterday, Patriots showed up and held the line. I’ve never been so proud 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
