- The second generation of the Hyundai Kona arrives as a 2024 model. After a recent milkd refresh for the Kona, this new model is fully redesigned and in no small way. With exterior and interior changes that are, to say the least, noteworthy, the second generation Kona is worth a close look. Did Hyundai make the right changes to the Kona for the 2024 model year? Discover the answer for yourself in today’s Vehicle Visionary video!

Picked mine up today. Ultimate Red with grey interior in Limited trim.
17:45 I like that there are physical buttons and dials for climate control
I loved the 2024 so much, I bought one in orange! ❤
Nice! Congratulations on your purchase!
Did the clearance (ground to undercarriage) change?
I orderd a Kona Hybrid 1.6 dct 6, 2024 in the colour mirage green TT in the Netherlands. I hope it comes soon.
I love it in fact i checked I checked it out today
It changed because the Hyundai Sonata 2024 has one strip for the front looks amazing im getting impatient waiting for it lol
So do I save $1,400 & get better mpg with FWD or opt for AWD? I reside in Michigan but rarely have a need for AWD.
I've already spoken to my dealership in Tallahassee about getting a Mirage Green Limited Kona in January.
I get my mirage green limited in September 🥰🥰
I have a 2022 Kona nline. They made many great upgrades. I’m disappointed in gas mileage I get 33 pretty consistently but I have a DCT. I think mine is more attractive but I love all the upgrades. Definitely will look at one on my next oil change at the dealership. Great comparison video.
The new Kona is even worse fuel economy. :(
I have the 2024 Limited AWD Kona and literally love EVERYTHING except the fuel economy and gas tank size.@@BoopSnoot
I would have gotten the n line Hyundai color that looks very good
25:59 will there be a electric tailgate and ventilated seats in the 2024 Kona preferred trend package? I hope so, that’s what I ordered
Looks taller than previous model. I wonder if it has a higher ground clearance 🤔
Does the 2024 have adaptive cruise control?
yes..
My 2024 Kona SEL did come with rear AC vents. That Limited did not have them?!!!
11:09 that was funny.
does LED light bar also light on base Kona model?
Yes, but the interior ambient lights are only on the Electric, N-Line, and Limited.
So the limited has the 360 cameras? My dealer told me hyundai wasnt putting them on the 2024 models for another 2 months
That information may have changed after they were told.
nice kona 2024
The 2024 looks spartan inside and outside. Looks similar to how the old kia tuscon approx 3 generations looked like. The 2023 looked better plus better mpg.
Love it but why so expensive. I bought my limited for like 27k and now it’s 33k
Do you not see the technology this thing is packing? Ventilated seats, dual climate controls, blindspot camera, smart parking assist, power tailgate...Do I need to go on?
Vehicle is perfect EXCEPT for the fuel economy. The AWD turbo EPA rating is pretty bad.
Be aware the 2024 Kona has one annoying feature, you have to turn the speed limit recognition beep feature off every time, after you start the car. It does not have a permanent off button for this. Hyundai please let us turn the speed limit beeper off permanently
I find this hard to believe, it would be a deal breaker for me.
awesome tech but... it's too pricey, MPGs went down, bigger for no reason. They made a better Tucan and called it a Kona. I think they are pricing themselves into a category that will push folks to the known high resale and reliability champs. That's not good for them.
The rear is not beautiful, it is too barren and boxy, the skins are quite exposed when the vehicle crashes, and the shape is not as sporty as in the white model. The landing space is a little larger, which is bad for such a bulky car. closed the door to buyers of this model. I already have another Kone model, but I don't intend to buy the one presented here because it is ugly and I will rather switch to Toyota, it is more beautiful.
ridiculous shifter.......stop trying to reinvent the wheel
It's not a reinvention is a modernization of the old Buick shifters lol. Was in the ioniq 5 and it's what allows them to add so much space to the center console area
