Weird thing: about ten years ago I was hunting in TH-cam for a song, any song. A boss we had and hated was up for a job that if she got, would save us from her. If she got the job, I was going to post up a video on Facebook so everyone would know. Turns out, this was the video that came up! So for about five people in a faraway country, this video represents the very best thing ever. I still play it, it comes up on my mix all the time.

There are so man Indie acts like them and almost none receive big recognition. Has to do with all sorts of factors. Musical talent and greatness is arguably just a minor factor in predicting commercial success.
