Good question, it is tested and well proven that for 9000 hrs it does good but for test check a sample is to be tested for presence of bacteria and viruses in private testing labs.

Sirji konsa wala UV use karna chahiye jo Horizontally placed hai ya fir vertical... jese kent me horizontally placed rehta hai or livpure me vertically hai...

You can use any one horizontal or vertical but make sure that water ‘in’ should remain in the UV tube at least for 10 sec till it come ‘ out’.

Koi bhi domestic uv mein 10 sec Pani nahi rukhta.
