How I made this video ("Content Quality" notes):
This is my edit of a song from Steven Universe, pieced together from ten-second fragments in one of many languages. It has been paired with a video I made from scratch. At a glance, this appears to be a credits sequence copied directly from Steven Universe, but as I say, I made it myself, taking many hours of work.
Video contains the following elements: Recreated animation based on backgrounds from Steven Universe. Original title cards created by me in the style of the show. A full credits list of the cast and crew of Steven Universe, compiled by hand in Photoshop and layered on top of the background video to make an authentic-looking credits sequence.

I will admit that I’m not the biggest Steven Universe fan, and it’s not a perfect show and has its flaws. But its message about love and how the characters evolve to demonstrate this idea is simply beautiful. And sometimes I think about how we can learn from these characters to become more accepting of not just others but ourselves, which I admire greatly.

No_Duh_ Well, in season 2 during the time they stayed at the barn the intro and outro showings of the clothesline had the middle shirt exchanged for a tank top so... I guess so? Also, after the time Steven took off one shirt and there was another shirt under that, I thought about how the two shirts drying are there because he always wears two at a time.

recently, one of my friends left our group.

I was in a group of friends once. They changed when high school hit, teasing me and mocking my faith in God. It hurt me because they were really my only friends. I had to leave the group if I were to grow as a person. I never saw them differently because of their different beliefs, sexualities, or anything. They were my friends, and they bullied me without even realizing it.
Later in life, I became a hypocrite by doing the exact same thing to a friend of mine from Canada. I was bothering her without realizing how much I bothered her, and she cut contact with me. She didn't deserve my crap.
So, I guess I feel the same way. This song, however, reminds me of a show that taught me a lot.
Steven Universe 2013 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 were like childhood shows to me. The holes in my heart are proof of how sad I was when they ended.

Just finished watching this series. Was not expecting how amazing it would be. Love the songs and how even the ending credits had the little touches of the ending theme evolving. Garnet is such an amazing character. Lots of amazing characters and lessons for kids, complicated relationships and twists.

I remember my friend getting me into this show. At first, I was skeptical but I kept watching and each episode made me feel emotions that were hard to come by at that time. I fell in love with the show because it showed me I could be proud of who I was, thank you, Rebecca Sugar.

It's never late to come back. As an kid I watched season 2 in German no one in my school knew this show. My friend and me (current) love this show and sometimes we talk about it. Sadly the community is dead. I have been watching it twice and a want to start 2022 with the new year Steven universe episode. I just dont want too let go. I never understood the feelings as an kid, but now after rewatching it since almost 7 years this good really in my heart. I mena it's never late. This song makes so much more sense now that we've seen the movie and understand how flawed of a person Pink/Rose was even she saw how flawed she was, thats why she preferred Greg not knowing much about her. I also think thats why she wanted to have Steven she knew that if she gave up her physical form to form Steven atleast half of her in some way could become human and learn how to love the way humans do. She probably wanted to become human because she must have belived that her being a gem limited her from being able to understand true love and affection. The cold way gems in general behave and even the abusive way the diamonds treated her in the series could be evidence of that. I believe that when Garnet said that rose loved all living things Rose at the time was trying to learn how to love everything because she even loved the gross moss that bloomed at the top of the hill. Rose's main problem was maintaining the love she had for others because she was easily bored and not understaning how to reciprocate that love until she met Greg.

I personally think that this is Rose singing to the Crystal Gems. Here's why:

Half of what you think of me"
They all think very highly of Rose, Pearl in particular, as she was their leader and the gem who set them free. But she doesn't see herself in such a good light as he does: she wishes she could be half of what they think of her.
- "When I see the way you act
Wondering when I'm coming back"
The Crystal Gems all miss Rose dearly and wish she could come back, again Pearl in particular, which is who I think this line is directed at. Pearl acts irrationally and puts Steven's life in danger more than once, wishing that Rose would come back.
- "I could do about anything
I could even learn how to love like you"
Despite being a very loving gem, Rose wishes she could learn to love like the Crystal Gems do, Steven in particular, as he is able to show love and compassion in situations even she couldn't. She says she could do anything, even learning how to love (v)

Rose shattered Pink Diamond, going against her own morals and filling her with guilt at essentially murdering her own leader, leading her to believe that she is bad. She sees this to be true, as the gems and Steven are so much better than she was in her opinion and that she's nothing like them: a renegade Pearl, a fusion of love, a one of a kind Amethyst and a gem/human hybrid. She is the only "normal" member of the team in Homeworld's eyes.

She loved all of her friends, and, if she saw him, would love Steven too. But she doesn't see why they love her so much, why they think she's so great, so special. To her, she's a guilty, Diamond shattering traitor. She did what was right for the Earth, making her special to those she saved. (vv)

This line could mean several things, but I think that it's Rose speaking about how long it took for the truth about her to come out, how long it took for Steven to know what really happened.
- "Love me like you"
I believe that Rose is saying this final line to Steven, asking him to love her like he loves everyone else, in a way telling him to love himself
Idk if this theory is true or not, it's just my opinion
