Just want to say thank you. I have been teaching myself over lockdown and had some beginners understanding prior to this. All your 5 best tips as a beginner I identify with and have learnt and just heard your fingerprinting teaching today. You explain so helpfully...the best teacher I've heard so far. Bless you you're being used. God's encouraging me to invest in practice over this summer to become a more skilled beginner in worship playing. God is using you in this..

What if its a minor song?
Is it common in worship to use the Cadd9, Dsus4 and Em7 instead of the traditional C, D and Em chords?
Yeah this is a really good question! With worship music, it's definitely more common to use the chords you mentioned rather than the traditional C, D, and Em. I still use the traditional chords from time to time if it feels right and sounds right for a specific song, but 95% of the time I (and most other worship leaders) use the more common chord voicings.
