I just found your channel and I absolutely love your content. Down to earth and you keep it simple, as opposed to these unrealistic videos labeled as D.I.Y. that can only be achieved if you are an architect with unlimited resources. Great job!!

Thank you very much! I really appreciate this. Also, sorry I took so long to respond! I’ve been sick and pretty busy this last two months.

I think your idea for a Great Room is a good one, but with the large windows, it seems that the scale of the tables should be smaller. Maybe you could use this room as a hall and put in a fireplace and weapons on the wall flanked by Knights suits of armor. When making the eating hall use a wider base for the room. You did a fantastic job on the walls and floors!

Depending on what else you put in the room, I think the long table configuration looks good and achieves the large perspective you want. All your egg carton bricks are inspiring me for the theater exterior I am planning to make for my 1:4 scale Doll Village. I've never used them before, but I'm looking forward to it. ❤

The egg cartons work really great and are practically free! (If you already buy eggs haha) Also a theater exterior sounds like a lot of fun. I just subbed can't wait to see the project! :)

I love how your room truned out. Just a tip I use when glueing the pasta boxes together for layers, don't sand the labels side. Use acetone (nail polish remover) and a paper towel. You will have to move to new spots on the towel as you go to keep from just smearing the coating around. It just takes a minute or so and the coating will all be gone. It works great, its fast and no dust to breath. And it does not harm the cardbard at all.

I never would've thought of that! Thank you so much for the tip. I'll have to try that next time I glue the boxes together.

I think you did a great job on the brick wall and floor. I think what you ended up with works, as long as you are happy with it. If you aren’t, then only you can change it. Great job though, in my opinion.🩵

Thank you very much! I'm happy with the bricks overall, so I think I'll leave them for now. :)

I think you did a wonderful job! And I know what you mean about dry brushing. I feel the same way! Some people want to make it so confusing and difficult and then I never get it done💜💜💜 Great job!

the egg carton saving ritual...so funny and true. you can save the scraps in a container and wet it, smoosh it, flatten into a sheet and cut it to make more textured bricks. I do it with all the shaped and rounded parts I don't have a use for. (yeah paper clay but with only enough water to make it swell (dries pretty fast) i use a small cookie sheet to form it and press into (can also use an old silkscreen)

Ohhhh that’s actually super smart!!! I always end up wasting the rounded bits. I never even thought to try and reform them! Thank you for the tip.

I tried doing the grout originally, and it was awful! So I decided to forego it, and I think it looks fine! :)
