Today is January 5 and I go back to school tomorrow for PD with students returning Tuesday. We’ve had a wonderful break with family and friends over. Mini vacation to New Orleans for the Polar Express train ride…thankfully leaving the day before the terrorist attack. I’m planning to take down my Christmas decor next weekend. We’re just enjoying it a little longer since we have been busy. Tomorrow, it’s back to the real world. Lol!
I always take down my tree and other Christmas stuff on the 26th of December. I find that I enjoy it more when it's up for just a few weeks and I also can relax more when it's away. I don't want that job staring at me all break. It also feels so good to get back all that space.
Hi Katie, we have a tradition that we take our christmas decorations down at candlemass. Which is february2nd. This is an old tradition from many years ago, when we started our family we decided that This would be one of our traditions. I know that loads of people think it is far too long, but we dont mind and it gives us time to settle with the decs going back in the loft, we also all take them down so its like a family activity. This does mean we have to dust the baubles more. But it doesnt take long. Happy New Years Cleaning. It is so satisfying when you know that dont a good Cleaning day. Blessings Susie 🙏🎄🎶🇬🇧
@mrs_katie_in_elementary Hello Katie, it is a lovely tradition. This christmas has been a little different for us as a family because my Dad passed away in the September of 2024 and he always joined us for his birthday which was just before christmas and spent many days with us over the christmas break. So it has been a little strange but we have spent loads of family time together which has been really nice. I'm due back to school this monday which is always nice to see everyone, colleagues and students. This evening it has started to snow and it's still going strange, so we could be making a snowman tomorrow if we have enough snow, I'm praying that we do🙏❄️❄️
Happy New Year! You’re going to love the steam mop. Thanks for sharing the nee workout clothes from Amazon. I have a gift card from a student and I may look into those leggings. I do love the Old Navy ones too though. Have a great rest of the school year. Can’t believe we’re halfway done!
Happy New Year! The Christmas decorations come down on December 26th. I spent the rest of my break relaxing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I had planned to get my life and house organized, but I did not do that. I had to go back to school on Jan 2nd.
Today is January 4th. I took the Christmas tree down the 2nd. I’ve washed clothes (still working on that), I watched my aunt and uncle’s dog, rearranging my bedroom today, and making sausage balls tomorrow. We never have teacher work days to prep after a holiday. I’m now taking a break and watching you.
I love your video. I put away my Christmas decorations today and tomorrow I’m going to clean my living room space and put it back to normal or as normal as I can
Hello Katie, Happy New Year! It was nice hanging out with you today. I love my Shark Steam Mop (don’t be afraid to add a little vinegar for extra disinfectant- a few drops to the water 💦). Here in Jersey we went back on Thursday 💆🏻♀️ but the break was a great time to rest and rest. Have a beautiful start of the new year at school- love from Jersey ❤
I got pneumonia and bronchitis around November 6th. Had a nasty, deep, lingering cough and nose junk all the way until mid-December. Then it turned into a sinus infection and pleurisy. I am just now starting to feel like myself after 3 antibiotics, steroid/cough pills, and 2 inhalers. Sick for 8 weeks, this thing really kicked my butt! Glad you are feeling better! I can't take down Christmas yet because my college kids don't want me to so I'll wait until they go back. 🥲
Hello! I love this video! I started deep cleaning before I went on vacation. I can't wait to get back home and finish🎉 I would love to see or have u tell us your workout specific workouts.

It definitely feels like more of a treat when it's for a shorter period!
Slowly taking things down. Back to workday today January 6. Loved this video!!!
I hope your first day back wasn’t too rough!
Totally understand I gave up on putting our tree back into the box. We got a Christmas tree bag, game changer!
Oooh! Maybe once the box dies we’ll get one of these! Do you keep it put together in the bag? Or break it down still?
@ we still break it down.
Loved, loved the clean with me. It was motivating.
I'm so glad!🥰🧺 Happy New Year!
Feliz 2025. Acá tenemos que esperar hasta después del 6 de Enero ya que es el Día de Reyes y se celebra también 🎉.

Happy New Year!! Our Christmas tree usually stays up until January 6th although I have asked my husband already to take it down!!
I feel you!! I'm ready for a fresh start in the new year, too!

Same to you! Let’s make this year amazing!✨
@mrs_katie_in_elementary looks like you are off to a God start.
Katie,
Do you have a link to the vocabulary slides you use?
Thank you!
For my reading instruction? I just make them to go with what I am teaching... no link, sorry!
Happy New Year! Where is your hat from?
@@emeliamoore9467 it’s a headwynd beanie! I love them because the inside is lined with a dry fit fabric that doesn’t itch, even after a long wear!
