- In this video I catch a shiny Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y every way possible (If you don't count soft resetting): Full odds, Pokeradar, chain fishing, breeding, horde hunting, and friend safari. I can't wait to hunt all the shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!

This item is given to you at the end of the game after you beat the elite four, and you can use it to find pokemon. Later, after completing the pokedex, you can get the shiny version which can also find shiny pokemon for you as well.

Amazing! How do you have all that patience?! I've been on the Carvanah, Clampearl, and Pachirisu Hunt. (Pachirisu took forever and went to sleep xD) My favorite shiny.....dang that's hard. I am going to have to go with Spinda. It's a nice green color and if I ever catch a shiny Spinda, nobody is going to have that same Shiny Spinda because of its unique pattern :3

Hey some people have shit luck with RNG and FS is their only hope. I know I've gotten shinies by every method except for chain fishing. I find people who chain fish admirable because I can't do it. In reality there's no skill in running around running into wild Pokemon until one sparkles. Patience? Yes. Skill? Nah. So really it all depends on the person.

My favorite shiny is Mudkip. I got it using the masuda method, and it was a really short hunt, only like 250 eggs or something.

That sucks. I went through 28 boxes to get my Charmander. It can take a while, but it's so rewarding when it happens.

Using O-Powers mostly. I get a box or 2 full of eggs and then fly to Lumiose City, use my hatching O-Power, and hatch all of them. Then I get one or 2 more boxes and repeat.

Funny thing was that was after I had ragequit after failing a 39 shiny chain, went online to battle, and got someone's friend code. I started Pokemon x I bought pokeballs immediately before even being given them and I'm glad I did. The first Wild Pokemon I encountered in the game was a fletchling, the second Pokemon was a scatterbug, the third was a SHINY fletchling.
