forsure will be there
With what happened last time, I'm not putting it past them to reveal something at Nintendo Direct. I was so certain that we were not gonna get any Pokemon Info at last years's Direct, and I said that if you expected that, you were an idiot, cuz that's what the Pokemon Presents were for. Well, we did get some info, so in the end, I was the idiot :D
They would never show their first gameplay in a Nintendo direct instead of a Pokémon direct
The starters will be Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie but with the types swapped
I actually hope we get starters form different regions just with different final evolution typings but seeing that mega evolution is a big mechanic again, that could be very unlikely
1:15 Don't you mean...Giratina's Advocate?😉
Knowing nintendo’s market perspective they will make Legends ZA for the console most available which is the switch. They did the same for X and Y staying on the DS when many assumed it would be on the Switch.
I have hope for a Pokémon game this November like a remake but I’m ready for nothing. 😭
Yeah, I’m definitely not expecting anything mainline for this year
Id love a reveal of legends ZA, i doubt itll happen but that would definitely make the direct absolutely amazing for me
I think it's possible that Legends ZA stuff will be in the direct, honestly i want to hear or see something about Metriod prime 4 and maybe a new Star Fox and Kid Icarus game but i feel like those would be saved for the Switch 2.
no. I think August pokemon Presents is the most likely scenario. The Nintendo Direct is covering games for the second half of this year. I don't believe there be anything pokemon related in the Nintendo Direct. The trading card mobile app is probably getting covered in the August Presents too. Switch 2 was never delayed. It is on schedule
Interesting thoughts! I mean you never know since none of us have the inside info
Well as they say less is more so even if we don't get a trailer it wouldn't be a bad thing
Absolutely! I’ll be content either way, as I’m not expecting it
Really hoping for those starters.
You got two watches out of me Lumi. I left my room to play outside with the dogs on the first viewing

Your bit about titles that are compatible for both reminds me of that 4chan post from a while back saying they were working on a Switch 2 upgrade patch for Scarlet and Violet.
I believe the rest of that post came true, so I could extrapolate this further to explain how they could have SV as the VGC title all the way to Gen 10's 2026 game, they could even patch in any new mons that get released in Z-A so that the battle seasons don't get stale?
That’s a VERY interesting point. I remember that post!

@@lumiosepost Ahhh, to your Uncle Ohmori
Only if the game drops in the 1st half of 2025, otherwise, no.
I’d 100% agree. If it’s Q3 or Q4 of 2025, no shot.
Personally, I’m guessing Q2 of 2025
@@lumiosepost I feel like PLZA won’t drop till March of 2025 AT THE EARLIEST.
Considering they already said Switch 2 won't be announced in the upcoming Direct, that only leaves a September announcement, so i feel like the console wouldn't even come out until August 2025 on its earliest.
@@nickdentoom1173 They also said that the Switch 2 will be announced within this fiscal year. Also, did you forget that we typically get another Nintendo Direct in September, so unless the September direct is a Partner Showcase, it’s safe to assume that the Switch 2 will be announced in the fall of this year & launching in Spring of next year.
@@nickdentoom1173 Assuming this upcoming direct isn’t the last one for the Switch era or if it is, the September direct is a Partner Showcase.
Gen 10 releases next year so plza gotta be early next year
Interesting thoughts!
I def agree PLZA will be within the first half of next year. My guess is quarter 2
IF PLZA drops before Pokémon day of next year, IE January or February at the latest.
Gen 10 is most likely going to come out in 2026 it’s Pokémon 30th anniversary but I do see PLZA coming out in March-May with ILCA or Pokémon works doing a game in November 2025
@@shadowwizard2383 i did hear a rumor that BW remakes were the 1st Switch 2 titles & that got delayed when the Switch 2 got delayed.
@@ShiningStar5022 do we know that switch 2 got delayed or is that all rumors
This guy look like the guy from hidden power podcast. 😕😏
Never heard of it 😜
No since this direct is only focusing on games for this year. The only Pokemon things I can see are either nso ports, a spin off remake, or MAYBE a smaller mainline title akin to BDSP or Let's Go
I am not expecting Pokemon news, but it is important that Nintendo saying a “focus on” doesn’t mean that will be ALL there is.
Just to play devils advocate
Basically anything that releases between now & February of next year, which PLZA isn’t gonna be one of those title if what Centro & Khu are implying is any indication.
Yeah the only Pokémon I see getting talked about is ports of gen 1-2 it’s the perfect time because you can’t get them anymore on 3ds, port, remaster or new spinoff game. The smallest chance would be something about PLZA or any new mainline remakes or something totally new from Pokémon works like kanto set in the future but I wouldn’t mind being wrong at all.
They announced Pokémon Stadium on NSO in a direct. So my copium is the old games with Home integration. Highly doubt it though.
Nope
the answer is no and it will not actually be on switch due to Nintendo telling game freak to push it back to the switch successor since the switch successor most likely come out march 2025
Interesting take!
@@lumiosepost the switch successor will be revealed January 2025 and release march 2025 with a direct in February 2025 to reveal the launch titles for the console and some games coming after the launch, Pokemon legends za is most likely a fall 2025 game, although it could be possible that Pokemon legends za is the last ever game released for switch and released in January 2025 but before the reveal of the switch successor
