Wow, I find the minors more powerful than the majors in this deck. The minors are incredible. Back in the day before industrialization, most women menstruated at the same time with the cycles of the Moon. I remember reading about women sitting in circles on moss as they menstruated together in ritual and sacred space. Imagine how different things would be today if communities of women could take time out to be in sacred space for several days each month. During these days the Crones would cook and take care of the children. Capitalism is killing us all. Thank you for your heartfelt review of this deck. ❤❤❤
That sounds amazing Liz. And yes, imagine how totally different things would be if women were allowed to still do that? I think that’s a beautiful way to celebrate menstrual cycles. Sadly, with women being pushed back, and cancelled. I can’t see this happening anytime soon can you? It’s a different world we live in from the one I used to know. And that’s not a good thing either ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have the 1st and this one - fabulous original decks. When I first heard of her I had my doubts, thinking that with the series of 4 tarots it was just another person jumping on to the tarot sales bandwagon. But through watching her videos I could see she is very genuine in her approach, even though it is so extremely shamanic and artistic I do find it hard to comprehend sometimes. I would say it is very much worth watching all her videos on this one, all her "stories" for each card. She doesn't directly explain the meaning of the art, but indirectly it does give you a much better sense of what's going on. Also, even though it isn't terribly obvious, I do believe the cards relate back in their own way to the RWS system. She is an incredible talent!

I will keep an eye out for a secondhand of the first one for you. Just incase. Usually if I put links in comments it blocks me haha, but if you type actual tarot podcast into the search on TH-cam it should come up. We only have a small following and episodes are between an hour to two. So not for everyone 😂 but we do live tarot spread reading. So it’s fun for us and those who come. 🖤

I’ve been subbed to you for quite a long time now but I don’t often get round to watching a lot of videos on TH-cam. I so appreciate your view of women and the feminine; when you speak about it your sincerity really comes across. I have the first edition of this deck but none of the others, unfortunately. They’re prohibitively expensive for a deck…and I have absolutely no issue at all with her choice to price them that way, either. It just means I have to really think about whether I’m going to use it or not. It looks like you can still get a copy on GameCrafter. As I write this, however, I thought maybe you’re looking for someone who wants to move their copy on for a reasonable price? Either way- you brought my attention back to this remarkable creator and deck and helped me see her and her decks in a fresh (and refreshing!) light. Thank you so much. ❤️🙏🪷
