Great vid. I’ve got the style 8 repeater but I can’t stop it from alarming every 12 hours. Is the alarm set knob supposed to push in and out to set/unset the alarm?
The knob shouldn't really push in/out, if it's a Scotland made one, make sure the alarm spring is fully wound up, and press the black stop button on the top of the clock. The button should stay flush with the body of the clock (the bell). If it doesn't, the catch may be faulty. When the button is down, the alarm should not sound, because pressing the button down before the alarm rings should still engage the catch and block the hammer. Hope this helps
