I am a Senior Citzen and a COVID19 Survivor. I was admited at QMC - Quezon Medical City in Lucena City on April 9, 2021 and clinically recovered and discharged from the Hospital on April 20, 2021. I was fighting for my life for my first day up to 3 days in the hospital. Grabing hirap.......Sa umpisa!.. Mula noong nahawaan ako nag umpisa sa lagnat di ko naman pinapansin sabi ko "LAGNAT LAKI LANG ITO" pero kinalaunan ay tumaas na ang temperature ko from 37, 38, 39 up to 40...Wow! combulsion na iyon....wala na akong matandaan para na lang akong nanaginip ...di ko na maintindihan kung ano ang sinasabi sa akin. April 5, 2021 nagpa Saliva Test kaming tatlo sa Phil. Red Cross, Lucena City. Ako at ang Mrs ko at iyong bunso kong anak na umuwi galing pa ng Lagunsa mula sa kanyang work ayumuwi para lang asikasuhin kami. April 6, 2021 lumabas ang result " positive ako at negative naman ang Mrs. ko at ang bunso kong anak na lalaki. April 7, 2021 malala na ang lagnat ko, nanunuyo na lang lalamunan ko, wala ng laway, walang ng pang amoy at walang ng panlasa sa pagkain....sabi ko ang alat naman ng ulam....sabi ng Mrs. ko at anak ko ay tama naman ang timpla ah! ....he he he.... sira na pala ang panlasa ko. April 7, 2021 dinala na ako sa hospital para ipa admit pero tinanggihan ako ng (2) private hospitals dito sa amin wala daw silang facilities para sa Covid19 patient at puro puno ang kanilang Hospital beds ng patients....sa pangatlong Hospital inasikaso naman ako kinunan ng Blood Sample of r test, Urine sample test, X-Ray at ECG. Niresetahan ako ng Doctor at naka schedule ako para i-admit sa private hospital na iyon (no need to mention the name of the hospital) ay nasa Number 34 ako naka line up.... ang dami na palang naunang naka line up sa akin....Umuwi muna kami at hintayin ang schedule. ininom ko naman ang mga gamot na nireseta at noong kinagabihan di na ako makahinga at nagsisikip na ang aking dibdib, may hangin naman pero hirap hagilapin, Ang hirap talagang huminga at nagdidiliryo na ako....Nataranta na ang mga kasama ko sa bahay at nagpabili na ng oxygen. nakaginhawa naman ang oxygen at di na ako nahirapan huminga pero grabe na ang lagnat ko.....April 8, nagtatawag na ang bunso ko sa City Health Office para mag patulong para ma-admit ako sa isang Govt. Hospital at ang sabi wala daw bakante.....puro pa cute lang si City Health Offie ... he he he ....kung ano ano pa tinatanong at pinagsasabi...may Contact Tracing na ..Itsinis miss na skami sa buong Barangay namin...siyempre para i-infom sa Brgy. at purok leaders na may Covid patient sa lugar ....April 9, 2021 naisingit ako sa QMC- Quezon Medical Center, may isang bakante, salamat sa tulong ng PDRRMO na siyang nagsumikap na isingit ako sa QMC dahil Critical na talaga ang kalagayan ko...NAGHIHINGALO NA! ...... at kung inantay pa namin iyong schedule ko sa Private Hospital na #34 ang schedule para i-admit ay malamang na CREMATE na ako ngayon. Grabe ang hirap na dinaranas ng isang Covid patient ang buhay ay nalalagay sa alanganin. Magastos na at pinandidirihan ka pa ng community (paglabas mo ng hospital) na para ba gang may sakit kang ketong....ha ha ha....ang Hospital bill ko ay umabot ng 72K sa loob ng 11 days. How much more kung sa private hospital ako na admit malamang umabot ng 150K or more ang Hosp. Eat less salty foods (max. 1/2 tsp per day), less sweet foods, less rice, less fatty foods, chk fruits limit per day (saging 2-3 pcs becoz of its sugar content), drink lemon (max 2 pcs/day), eat garlic, apple cider vinegar (max. 3 tsp/day), more veggies.. good luck!

Glad you’re fine idol bitoy! I’m covid survivor too. It was scary at first but what I did was increase my vitamin c, increase my fluid intake, taking fresh ginger lemon tea. Gurgle with salt and water. And heat inhalation. And first also what I did was pray to the lord. I lost my sense of smell and taste too pero mad dinamihan ko kain ng healthy clean food. After 1 1/2 day bumalik na. Laban lang idol. Godbless.

Grave nman mag swabtest kuya bitoy. Tagal sa ilong mo.. aq rin nagpositib aq in day 5... in day 1 nag negative ung result lumabas nasa day 4. Then swab uli nag positiv tuloy pro nkaramdam aq ng ubo at sakit ulo rin. Pro still isolate.
This Bitoy Story put a tears in my eyes. The moment you lose touch to your family realizing the day ends without kissing or hugging them, I felt that. I work as an ICU charge nurse sa Fairfield, California... and I have a son who’s 5 years of age. I feel your pain. Sometimes, isa santabi mo yung pain because you don’t want your family to get sick especially your children. Just hang in there, man. I’ll pray for your speedy recovery. Pinanood ko po ito while experiencing initial symptoms padre de pamilya din po ako. I also lost my sense of taste and sense pf smell. We also kept it safe and stayed inside and as much as possible PPE on while outside. I'll be getting my swab test tomorrow and I'm also hoping allergies or sinus infection. I'll also pray for your recovery and thank you for your insights sa initial na stages and the laughs. This will be buried in the comments section I know but I felt like I just wanted to share my experience here. Gosh I can't stop crying 😷 but I know I have to also be strong for my family's sake. im also covid postive patient last may 3 and fully recover ng june 16 then nakuha ko po clearance ko ng july 2 nag stay ako ng almost 1 month sa isolation area ng city namin and continue ang quarantine sa bahay ng more than 2 weeks... at the age of 19 im still grateful kasi hindi severe ung case ko and all we need to do is trust God's plan

Just want to share my experience Sir Bitoy. I also lost my sense of smell and taste nung na-infect ako. Talagang nakaka irita ung mawalan ng pang amoy. Ung lagnat hnde naman tuloy tuloy. so what I did pag maganda pakiramdam ko nag eexcercise tlga ako to strengthen my body, lots of warm fluids, vitamins, and about sa lost of taste hnde tlga ako makakain ng meals so binabawi ko sa fruits kc ung tamis nalalasahan ko. In just 1 week naka recover ako. mababa lang ang fatality rate ng covid-19. ang unang una lang natin dpt palakasin is ung mental health naten. the stronger your mind, the faster you will recover. I saw you crying in your vlog. cguro hnde dhil takot ka para sa sarili mo kundi para sa pamilya mo na nakapaligid sau. Believe me you'll get through this. And once malagpasan mo to, you will become stronger and fearless sa usapin ng covid-19. Get well soon idol!

Covid survivor here. I can totally relate on being alone while having this illness. I enjoy being alone but it's different when there's a reason why you have to be alone. It feels suffocating. I too have experienced loss of smell and taste, fever, body aches and my cough lasted for almost a month. My husband was brought to the hospital because he developed severe pneumonia. Both of us tested positive with covid. We are very happy because we both came out of it. And all the more happy because none from our family, friends and coworkers got infected. It's been almost a month since we experienced this ordeal but everything is still very fresh to me. Hope you and your wife feel better soon. And I would suggest you take supplements like NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine), Zinc Gluconate, Vitamin C and Vitamin D3. I would also recommend having a pulse oximeter to measure your oxygen levels at home. This is to make sure you don't develop pneumonia and only find out when it's too late. IF there's one thing i noticed after recovering from Covid is fatigue and broken sleep. It's been almost 3 weeks now but I would still wake up around 3 am no matter how early or late I sleep at night. I don't know when my full energy and broken sleep schedule finally goes back to normal but I can only hope it won't stay like this. There's no more returning to old normal for us. My husband and I are more aware of our health and well-being, especially my husband, who is a diabetic. This virus is really serious. I hope people really take it to heart to protect themselves and their family because although you recover from this, we still don't know the long term effects it will do to those who got infected.

10 days ago I was tested Positive from Covid same symptoms lost of smell and taste, sometimes there is cough and body pain, after 2 days nung malaman kung Positibo ako bumalik na yung pang amoy at panglasa ko Thanks God kasi mejo ok na ako. @@astra4796 una magpa swab test kana para malaman mo kung positive ka o hindi, Isolate mo sarili mo. Sa akin kasi everyday ako umiinom ng Vitamins at Lemon water, kumakain din ako Orange. Palakasin mo Immune mo. mahirap para sa amin na OFW ang magkasakit lalo nat malayo sa pamilya. Until now naka Isolate parin ako 10days na and hoping after 15 days fully Recovered na ako, Keep on Praying, wag ma stress

Sa ngayon may nalalasahan na ko ng konti naaamoy ko na konti yung alcohol tas nalalasahan kna yung matatamis konti. Wala din po pala akong lagnat at walang body pain.
I was a covid 19 survivor too, I'm a nurse and been exposed to covid patients, at first I was experiencing headache, then most of the time throat pain,sabi ko parang wala lang sa akin yun kasi naranasan ko na din siya before so parang the usual lang then habang tumatagal di siya nawawala hanggang pati sense of taste ko medyo alanganin na but my body works well kasi naka kapag duty pa ako, until one day na exposed na naman ako unluckily kasi meron pa rin talagang nakakalusot na patients even na screen sila well since admission (and yah nangyayari pa rin siya) then ayun nag swab ako and after a day our icn (infection control nurse) called me thru phone to tell that my result was positive. I've been admitted for how many days ALONE. Mahirap siya kasi both physical and mental health yung problem mo, andiyan yung moment na totally mag breakdown kasi sobrang hirap pero sa kabilang banda yung faith mo naman kay God yung lumalakas and lalong tumitibay na kaya nangyari siguro yun kasi may purpose. All throughout akala ko wala akong bantay but then I realized hindi pala kasi someone is looking at me from heaven. Now I regained my strength, balik na sa pagiging nurse and still fighting! Kaya para sayo Kuya Bits! Naniniwala ako na makakayanan mo din yan, madaming nagdadasal at nagmamahal para sayo 💯 we'll keep on praying for your fastest recovery 🙌 Covid lang yan mas malakas si Lord diyan 🙏 Godbless po! July 18 ko rin nalaman yung result ng swab test ko Sir Bitoy. And I feel you, halos magbreak down ako nang malaman ko na POSITIVE din ako sa Covid. Unlike you po, wala po kaming isolation room sa bahay. Share kami ng 3 kong kapatid sa room at ilang araw ko na po silang kasama bago ko malaman yung result. But God is good dahil lumabas po na negative sila sa swab test nila.
Patuloy pa rin po akong lumalaban sa COVID19. 3x na po akong natest and still, I'm covid POSITIVE.

I tested positive too then have myself quarantined for 2 weeks. The difference is im asymptomatic so they say. Drink hot Ginger juice at mag tuob ka 2x a day. Yan lang ang ininom at ginawa ko I never took any medicine except double dose lang ng vitamin C . BAD trip yang swabbing na yan I tell you. So far naka 2 swab pa uli ako which I tested negative na. i was also tested positive of covid 19 with the same symptoms as yours pareng michael v. the lost of taste lingered for a month but the lost of smell lasted for 3 months which made me paranoid especially at night kaya di nakakatulog, and also though I was already tested negative the lost of smell still comes and goes. But with the support of my wife (who was also tested positive of covid19) and my kids (na di ko rin nayakap for the longest time) and by praying always to God, i survived covid 19. Malalampasan mo din ito pareng michael v kaya please be strong for yourself and for your family. And have faith in God always!

Bitoy has a big part of my childhood, I can still remember when I come home after a playing outside, I’ll open up the tv and watch hole in the wall, it made me laugh even though I had a really really bad day it never fails to make me smile even my grandparents, my mother and my younger brother and sister we watch it together and also pepito manaloto, it teaches me the lessons that I will treasure, it help me develop to be a good person. Idol BITOY, simula pa noon IDOL na kita and ikaw rin naging inspirasyon ko bilang kumedyante rin ako sa tropa at sa office. i agree na hindi biro ang COVID and up to this moment me and my family is fighting it. i got positive last Sept 5 and maymga times na nkakapanic yung mga nararamdaman ko. Hope IDOL maipag pray nyo ako and sa mga gaya mong iniidolo ko ako humuhugot ng lakas para malagpasan ung mga ganitong pag subok. God Bless and more power sau IDOL BITOY.
