This conversation is giving me the goosebumps. VP of IBM to nothing and than systems - all the decisions essentially for his father, he's giving such family vibes.
People only see the tip of iceberg that is ''Labels'', but 1st 25 minutes of conversation made him what he is today. Didn't see anyone who is COO of this much big thing and still proudly owns washing utensils in cafeteria, mopping floor, changing sheets.
Almost 80% of company CEOs in Pakistan were once freelancers, Freelancing is not a bad thing but Freelancers need to utilize freelancing money to build service provider companies so that more people can benefit from a single source of income
It was a great session, but I think one thing was missing that what was he thing, the habits, mindaet, etc that made Asif Akram so successful, like the things he has achieved are phenomenal, if you get a chance to have him as a guest again, then do ask him about it.
I must appreciate how this interview has been presented. The best part I like is how the description section has been written. The whole talk divided into questions and those questions written in description along with time of the question in the video, which is 'click-able' and on clicking takes to the exact place in the video where the question is asked. Excellent work.
The establishment of institutions like FAST at educational level as well as academies (as Mr. Asif Akram stated) and implementation of E-Governance in Pakistsnl, would be a great contribution of company like Systems Ltd.
I really enjoy this conversation. And Bundle of apprecation for the Asif Akram Who have struggle a lot in his life and his aim is so clear for pakistani youth. And Thanks Muzamil hassan for sharing these interviews.
Hats off to Muzamil. You did a really great job, have no words to appreciate. Amazing. And it was wonderful to meet Mr. Asif. One of the best messages from this podcast "You never miss the boat". Thanks for such a great insight into the IT industry in Pakistan.
It's a shame that this amazing and eye-opening podcast has only 24k views....Had this been a cheap time-wasting vulgar video, would have been over a million views ... why our people are like that ? ... kaam ki baat koi nahi sunna chahta.
They have achieved alot like he said from 1billion to 3billions but they give pathetic salary of 25-35k to their executive one my friend is in systems for 7years he is still on CD-70 working day and night he is there just because of his financial issues..please have a look on this also
Pakistan's largest IT company systems limited has a revenue of $40 million and India's largest IT company Tata Consulancy Company has a revenue of $27 billion. That means India's largest IT company's revenue is 675 times the revenue of Pakistan's largest IT company.
Yeh conversation koi Qasim ali shah or enbalers waloon ko bhi suna day please, enhon logon nay bera garq ker dia hai, Please follow the SYSTEMS not stupids like enablers

C and assembly doesn't exist now? really? heard about linux kernel, bootloaders?
C & Assembly don't exist for Software Development.
C is only used in embedded system & operating system programming.
