Otto Wanz had a hall of fame career while performing mostly in Europe .

How he won the AWA title was still bizarre. He had it in Europe, months after he lost it.

Heenan was one of the funniest guys in wrestling, his charisma was undeniable. Not only one of the greatest managers, but one of the most entertaining commentators as well.

It saddens me to see youngsters commenting on tribute videos like these, flashing to everyone the fact that they have no idea who these legends-of-the-business were: choosing only to care about today's stars.
...That's like a young so-called "fan" of baseball only caring about following today's best players and not caring a lick about the accomplishments and in-person fond stories about Ruth, Mantle, Gherig, Aaron, Mays, etc.

Alexei Cogan what horrible things are they saying? I read bout 20 in a row and didn't see anything disrespectful.

You missed my point, Summer. I'll try again.
My comment was generally-speaking, what I've seen people saying on TH-cam these days, not just this one video. For anyone of today's generation who calls themselves a true wrestling fan to even ask questions like "WHO is Otto Wanz?" (or any other decades-old legend in the business) is disrespectful due to their self-displayed close-mindedness. It would benefit people's lives if they'd study up on the history of whatever they claim to be die-hard fans of. Take music, for instance: anyone who's stuck in only caring about today's stars and their hits, today's American Idol singers, not caring a lick about music legends of decades past (much less delving into classical music and everything that followed it) misses out on a great opportunity to learn, to expand their horizons. (I once saw people commenting beneath video clips of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan etc, "Wow, they're good! They ought to go on American Idol.")

Paul Heyman, JJ Dillon, and Jim Cornette are all on record as saying that Bobby Heenan was the greatest manager of all time. I think the only debate is which manager is runner up in the all time greats.

When Gorilla Monsoon passed, Bobby said the Pearly Gates should be renamed the Gorilla position. I can't help but think of Bobby standing there, ribbing and joking on angels and other souls, and Gorilla exclaiming "WILL YOU STOP?!?"
