Karla is one of many that I hate the most. She's free and is married with kids yet she robbed her sister of that. I always get heartbroken when I remember how Tammy was killed and it's just awful. I hope she looses sleep at night and gets haunted by all the horrible things she did to those poor girls💔
@@michaelpalmieri7335 Could it be you're an English teacher? It's just that I've noticed you've corrected a few words in some people's comments or is it just that it niggles you? It may be auto text causing incorrect spelling🤔.
As of today, Carol Ann Fugate is still alive and is currently 81 years old. She also still maintains that she wasn’t a willing accomplice in Charlie Starkweather’s crimes but instead was held hostage by him.
Fact: The day before being paroled Henry Lee Lucas told the Warden to his face Quote " If you let me go , I'll pile bodies up at your doorstep" Unquote. They let him go anyway and it was after this release he met Otis O'Toole.
The fact that jurors were so traumatized by what they saw on those video tapes from Paul and Karla that they themselves had to have therapy from it. Absolutely horrible what they did. RIP Leslie, Kristen and Tammy.
It's not always the wife. Sometimes the wives are thrown under the bus. That said, I agree with you. It's very annoying that when the couple get caught doing heartless deeds, it's always the first one who plays the victim who get off easier when they were willing participants. 😒
They were inspired by Starkweather and Fugate.. particularly her being involved, then claiming innocence. The hospital scene in The Frighteners is so creepy. Love that movie.
These couples are so interesting to me. They commit all these horrifying crimes but they usually are actually in love with each other. Even monsters can love I guess….
It's a Small World. 1- I used to board my horse at the same place a prison guard from Joliette Institution (where *Karla Homolka* was jailed for a while) boarded her horse as well. 2- I learned just yesterday my coworker used to teach one of her children when she was living in Châteauguay (Québec).
I hate concurrent sentences. It makes no difference if you are convicted of 1 count of murder or 100 counts if you serve all of your sentences concurrently.
@@shakawashingtoniii9998 I'm not a lawyer, so I don't understand. If the conviction is overturned, why wouldn't they be released. And if they were consecutive, how would that allow them to be released? Also, a lot of time when they are seeking life without parole, or death, they won't try all the cases, just the ones they feel have the best chance of conviction. If those got overturned, they'd still have the untried cases.

My sentiment as well....she's absolutely pathetic and vile. Her rotten behind should still be behind bars. I do feel sorry for her children😢

I agree with you completely. But she did serve her time. Should she have gotten life? Maybe. I'm pretty sure she changed her name, too.
Makes me sick that she’s allowed to volunteer at her kids school.
This brings “match my freak” to a new level
True crime? Check!
Narrated by Rebecca? Double check.
That’s the recipe for a perfect WatchMojo video.

Who in their right minds would want to start a family with Karla Homolka?!
Someone who's not in their right mind.
She has 2 or 3 kids, a husband, and still resides in Quebec
Her lawyers brother 🤮
, no way....are you serious?!?
She had her name changed.

Evil comes in all shapes, sizes, and in this case, pairs
Can’t have a list like this without Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo!
yes they can
They're like on every list ever made except this one lol
Edit: I spoke too soon lol they're on this list too

As always, when couples commit crimes, the wife would always try and act as a victim 🙄 😒.

@PrincessQ-fj9ly if you were the judge in their case, would you sentence them to life imprisonment?
"In her final moments Estelle cried and called for her mother" ... 💔 Fourniret was a monster
Bonnie and Clyde’s crime spree makes them a pair of notable Great Depression killers, and I remember seeing parts of their self-titled biopic.
Reminds me of the movie with Michael J. Fox, "The Frighteners."
They were inspired by Starkweather and Fugate.. particularly her being involved, then claiming innocence. The hospital scene in The Frighteners is so creepy. Love that movie.
The audio is bugged out in a few scenes
*I thought it was just me; I had to rewind the video a few times just to be sure...*
It's oddly nice to know that it isn't just me.
These couples are so interesting to me. They commit all these horrifying crimes but they usually are actually in love with each other. Even monsters can love I guess….
I wonder if Wyatt earp was around for this era if these seriel killers would be caught early
which man would marry Karla? He must now her story. And her children. What will they think when they get older?
The lawyers brother married her. Don’t know how one could marry her knowing everything..

Actually, the reason is encase a conviction is overturned the person still isn't released.

Technically, Bonnie and Clyde were never a couple. She had a husband, who was imprisoned. It depends on how you define couple.
