didn't need one in this case as it is not an attached structure and there is no plumbing

That’s great. I’ve been looking into yurt living. The dome looks pretty similar to a yurt. You mentioned the wooden feet and figuring out the angle of the slope since your dome is built into a hill. Are the feet set in a concrete platform?
