Installing Proxmox VE on Beelink SER5 MiniPC and Virtualize Windows 11

I'm sharing my experience in installing Proxmox VE on Beelink SER5 Max model and virtualizing Windows 11.

You couldn't use a VirtIO network because the drivers didn't exist yet. You can probably switch back to VirtIO drivers after it's installed. I think there is a way to install the network driver while installing Windows but I forget exactly where that option is.

I installed Proxmox on my SER5 and... it bricked right after the warranty has expired! Their support told me they won't fix it and won't send me spare parts even if I pay them. Don't be like me, avoid Beelink

Just a question, did you not lose the Windows 11 product key in the process? I did not see you applying it while the VM was installing Windows 11.

I applied the product key after the installation.

Ah you mean the license key that comes with Beelink. I was not able to retrieve it though. I applied a new license key to the Windows 11 VM.
