I’ve watched a lot of tutorial videos on installing bolton parts for the ecobboost. This is by far one of the best one. I wish it was as detailed for the NX two install.
Thanks for the video I was able to avoid all the issues and for the most part (outside of the clamps being a royal pain) the install was so much smoother.
This is by far the best instructional video I have seen for installing the CVFab race intercooler, let alone any other intercooler. Y’all have knocked it out of the park again! Great jobs guys and keep up the great work! Side question: I do see most people run the race port BOV. Do you guys have any experience, feed back or concerns running the HKS BOV? That is the last item I’m debating back and forth on before I start getting all these parts. Thanks for the video and the info. You guys rock as always 💪🏼
Keith! Thanks for the compliment brother. This is why we do it, to help those who either can’t make it to us or even those with little expertise. The HKS is a great BOV with an amazing sound. No issues at all! Let us know how we can help, we can set you up with the correct charge pipe BOV combo.
Hey guys, nice video. I’ve been debating on which intercooler to get for weeks now, and decided on the street as opposed to the race, because I don’t plan on taking the car to the track more than once or twice a year. the street should be more than enough for a duly driver with a little spirited driving every now and then right?
Be careful not to snap off the sensor when installing the CVfab race core. I did this and it sucked. Fortunately I was able to superglue it back together and it still works fine. I’ve had mine in and out a few times and just install the sensor after the intercooler is in place. Bit of a pain, but manageable.
I wish I would've showed my local mechanic this video so it didn't take him 7 hours to replace my intercooler (though that's probably about what it still would've taken) Great video, almost could've done it myself if I had a lift LMAO.
Hello, I just installed my tornado kit at home, i have an airaid intake tube and when I finished I got a check engine light. I took it for a test drive and it sounds like someone screaming lol I dont know if its supposed to sound like that but the thing that scared me was when I put it in sport and hit about 4k rpms there was a loud pop almost like a gunshot, and shortly after I got an orange wrench warning light. Needless to say I think I fucked up, Any help would be greatly appreciated. I didnt see any problems when I popped the hood either.
How long those intercooler last ? I took my ECT racing one and did a deep clean . Man was it dirty like a 5 cent whorxx but it did come out good performs great . But it is a few years old and it just lost it shine ✨
This is a great question! You don’t need a tune to run our Tornado Kit. But it’ll actually be benefited even with the stock tune. The larger intercooler benefits the car so much. We can 100% recommend it without a tune.
As long as you can fit the thickness of you finger in between, that 1/4” is more than enough. Just make sure to tighten the top fasteners to keep it still.
So I got the charge pipe kit with the TiAL flange and GenV Raceport but was told it wasn’t going to work. I did not have the boost reference kit you guys sell. Is that the only way to make the TiAL flange and Raceport kit work? If so, I probably will be moving forward with that install as Raceport seems to be preferred This also means I’ll have to by the reference kit from you guys too :)
So the Race port flange is identical as the Tial. So it’ll fit perfectly. What you will need to make the Race port work is the Turbosmart Boost Reference Adapter and the PP Hardline kit. ppflco.com/products/turbosmart-boost-reference-adapter-2015-ford-mustang-ecoboost-black?_pos=1&_psq=boost+referenc&_ss=e&_v=1.0 ppflco.com/products/parker-performance-bov-hardline-kit?_pos=1&_sid=1e7ac871c&_ss=r This is all you need!
@@ParkerPerformanceFL awesome! I’ll have to wait to order it all. I may or may not have sent it back planning to get a different set with the turbosmart dual valve kompact, but if I can make the Raceport work, I’d like to do that instead. My only question, what exactly does the hardline kit do? Like I see it’s plumbed back into the throttle body side, but why? Sorry for a silly question, but I’m trying to learn more. I just got into cars really and started modding with my ecoboost with Jason at DSG Performance and just want to have an idea of how things are supposed to work
@@UnabnormalDay it upgrades your vacuum line from rubber to hard line to allow for a consistent boost reference pressure with less possibility for any swelling, cracking, etc.
We must have missed it, thanks for picking that up. Even though we don’t have the removal you may skip forward to the installing of the crash bar and work a bit backwards. Thanks again!

No. I’m just a dude who has a 2020 ecoboost. And the price changed only reason why you replied 2 months later. All that in one bundle is equivalent to independent purchases

Where in LA can I find a shop to install this kit?
Can you make a video for the gustnado install?

Where does the Jesus Clip go on
It’ll secure your Boost Reference Adapter to your intake manifold. There should be a nipple right after the throttle body.

So how much power will this kit make
Probably won't gain much power but the car will breath better and sound better
This isnt specifically to add power, but rather to keep your car cool and breathing well so it wont blow up when you do add power.
