- Last weekend was a lot of fun! We visited Mitsuwa Marketplace and had lunch and picked up a few fun items. We had planned to film some of the vlog in Chicago- but once Monday rolled around, we didn't feel like going into the city, so we went to IKEA instead. I also unbox some Hermes goodies! This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. Love the Japanese markets! We have a few Mitsuwa near us. We go to another one called Tokyo Central, absolutely my favorite. Hope the blotting papers work out!

Carolina Herrera Bad Boy is my fav. A physician where I work has it and she smelled AMAZING asked her what it was. Had to go to Macy’s my next day off. An absolute favorite of mine.

I’m so glad the box finally made it! I’m not talented enough to make cards but those I had made from my leftover wedding florals and card stock officially 20 years ago. A fellow bride had a business in Seattle I met wedding planning and created the designs. I bought a ton. Speaking of Seattle the market made me homesick for the Uwajimaya up there that is very similar, that bookstore is also there. So much fun! 😊

I love Mitsuwa! Its my go to place for ramen and cakes. During the summer they have the Bon Odori Japanese summer festival which a very nice way to experience Japanese culture without traveling to Japan.

I use to work at Nordstrom….years ago. My friend suffered from greasy forehead also and he would use sheets from the massive amounts tissue paper we had available to wrap things to blot. From then forward I stopped buying expensive blotting tissues.
In a pinch, you can use those toilet sheet covers they have in public restrooms.

Caleb. Like theses vlogs. Me and the family are coming to Chicago this summer. Been taking good notes are were to eat. And differently were to shop. You guys had fun at the mall. Loved the bag you carried it was elegant. I love going to the city. We have a hour and a half drive . Which is the bad part. Are only luxury store we have here is von maur. And Dillard.
