I tried changing the hulk slot for Odin and it's surprising how well it does since people don't expect the Thor's hammer + Odin play at turn 6. Also great for Aero and Doom if possible and it's not in Shang range.
I climbed to infinity few days ago with similar big Lockjaw deck. Very consistent deck, when you hit your high roll you can easily compete with top deck lists out there.
hey freddy liking your videos and the decks you come up with! could you possibly do a video on how you build a deck and your general rules behind it? I'm very new to card games and am trying to do my own and have the cards I want to build around but struggle with the fillers!
I have never seen a deck brick harder in my fucking life. Just played 10 games (small sample sure...) down almost 10 cubes. Had Lockjaw in 4 games. Had lockjaw on turn 3 in 2 games. You will just get run over by everything unless your just banking on 8 cubes wins once an awhile. Update...8 more games. 3 lockjaws. I am now positive on cubes due to leech hitting my infinaut. I think I am just cursed with not drawing the dog.
Seriously, you skip 1, 2, and (5/12 times) 4 what an atrocious curve. Calling it very consistent is misleading, it should be called very consistent at having a dead hand.
I agree consistency is not a good word to use with jockjaw. He is a rolling of the dice mechanic. 50% you might draw him and 27% for lockjaw and wasp by turn 3. Also turn 4 may not have Thor or Dracula. However the high rolls are big very strong.
@@russellharrell2747 You are wrong. The game is not about winning but knowing when you are winning and taking advantage of that. So why go into a game where 5/12 times you are already behind other decks that don't rely on high rolls to outplay the opponent? @PoliMost There are stronger high rolls in other lockjaw archetypes. Lockjaw is best with deck thinning cards like jane and jublee because you can predict what is coming out of him during the later turns and thus know when you are winning while maintaining surprise value. If you want to guarantee a big unit then you should consider playing domino and/or quicksilver rather than adding more 6 costs. If you want to draw your combo and put yourself in a winning position more often then you run Chavez. The beauty of this game is it 12 card system which makes understanding probabilities more intuitive. Ignoring your curve and relying on high rolls will result in a net loss. If you want to play a lunkhead deck that plays big units then play ramp. You will have much more success. This is a bad deck and showing a couple of wins where you draw your ideal hand is in poor taste. Lockjaw thor is strong but this is not it.
@@byron9632 winning 8 cubes because your opponent underestimates you is a pretty big thing. Like it’s the idea behind the game. Also cube management is as important if not more so than having ‘good cards’ in your deck. This game has much more in common with poker than being a 12 card MTG clone.
Oh wow I run similar guardians daredevil deck havent seen anyone else running anything similar until now. But mine is more swarmish while this guy's is more controlish
Problem with this deck. Too many high cost card and only 1 token (another potential token is still on thor) so if you dont get the right pulls and you only pull high cost cards early then its auto retreat at that point. Another thing, dracula is very inconsistent, he can either lose you lanes or win them usually you lose them cause you are hoping for drac to discard infinaut but with a lot of shuri/thanos lockjaw deck its really hard to contest a lane with just 1 card alone and hoping you get the right card to discard. Place another token like iceman, okoye or jubilee.
one thing wrong about this deck is that it has only one token and another one is still in thor so youd get fked if you dont pull a lot of cards to make this right

you can replace dracula with jubilee
This deck took me from 35 to infinite. Appreciate it.

Could you share your decklist? Thx in advance
"You can't really go wrong with this deck."
Clearly you haven't seen me play.
It's definitely a consistent deck. In that I went 1-7 with it.
Being 2k collector level without dracula and lockjaw feels really bad man...definitely saving this list for later when I get them.
do you have a suggestion for a Jane F replacement? i have all the cards for the deck except that one. thanks
May I ask the reason about using hulk instead magneto?

Probably easiest if you hop into my twitch stream and ask me in the chat at some point :)
I love how you make deck where I have all the cards
I'm surprised no she hulk over regular hulk due to her being able to be played if you are stuck without a play the turn before.
Not saying you're wrong but he loses the game at 10 mins with She-Hulk.
You mentioned doc oc being similar to Aero in this deck. Would you say hes a good replacement for her?
If you don’t have her sure!
@@Freddybabes how about spiderwoman?
What do people mean when they say “pool”? I’m unsure what it means. Was wondering if anyone had answers.
You earn your cards in pool sets. What collection level are you?
Officially the cards are separated into series, but everyone calls them ‘pools’.
I'm 1140 collection level, am I still pool 2?
@@calebbruyns3916 u pool 3.
@@Spankyy811 I don't know why I don't have Wong or she hulk zero and so on
Is there a Jane foster substitute.
Not a great one but you could try odin/magneto/jubilee/doctor octopus
Thor / Jane / lockjaw / wasp is the core synergy here.
love Jaw :) but i dont have Jane, any replacements sir please?
Hmm you could try jubilee or odin maybe, but deck will suffer
Nice deck 👍🏻
Any replacement for dracula?
Tricky one, you could try jubilee but the consistency will suffer
@@Freddybabes nvm i just pulled dracula LOL

JaneJaw is nothing new here, and I’d argue that a sunspot is going to win you more games than a killmonger.
now show us the games you had to retreat.

It’s about winning, not about playing cards every round. Curving out is overrated.
