I would also like to play Promod competitively again... Had 5000+ hours of promod in game time at xfire back in the days :) Played for a couple teams in Europe in different leagues and played 1 Season as Scope @ for eGO@ the US Version of the ESL back in 2011, I can't remember the name of the Leauge lol. I just scrim sometimes with some old buddies. for me Promod is still the perfect game. The combination of the tactical aspect, the Quake3 engine movement with strafing, bouncing etc. and the perfect balanced weapons and the movie function etc. is just so much fun... way better than CS. Promod is way harder to learn and play than cs...
But I disagree with the cs part tho, the top competitive level is giving goosebumps and the versatility of the game systems is something else. They have economy, different guns, smoke systems, sprays way harder than in cod4 and so on. Cod4 is a decent game but modern cs is on another level. I don't play it though, just a casual show enjoyer
As a guy who has 500+ hours into promod, and 3000+ hours in CS, I can tell you that CS is way harder. All the stuff you have to learn to compete at higher elos is insane. Different nades, different defaults, economy, each gun has it's own spray pattern etc. Promod is basically 4 guns (if you count the deagle). I sure miss the good old days of promod though, was some good times!
i had this idea long time ago but i am not a part of that community at all, so i have no idea where to look for clips other than twitch. Also I do this for free and honestly having another video to do regularly will be too much of an effort
