Italians are about light foundation, good coverage where its’ needed, a bold eyeliner OR a bold lip, a little bronzer and just a little eyebrow work. I'm Italian and normally women don't use false eyelashes. Even Italian stars often don't wear them. For the rest it's fine as a makeup.Or many women don't wear makeup even if not on special occasions. Sorry if I was wrong to write❤
Amy Leigh don't know about other european countries but as italians.. False lashes is a big no in Italy for common girls.. Can be just something for celebrities or some extravagant setting , party.. Not something usual

I love the concept of these videos and I enjoyed the Italian look here. In general, I would prefer if they were filmed as two separate looks and then a comparison as I find the half and half a little distracting.
Let's say the italian side you did is more like the bold-night-special event kind of makeup, because trust me: everyday look here is foundation (and not every single day), a little bit of concealer, powder to set, mascara and balm, that's it. But i do see sometimes bold lips as day makeup (also me, sometimes) or bare skin and loads of mascara. We kinda go for effortless look, false lashes and contour and eyeshadows just for special occasions.
Omg. Thank you so much for this! I am American but tend to favor a more natural Italian/French look. I have always felt alone and constantly pressured by everyone around me to be more glam more extravagant AF with my makeup and now I understand it’s a culture thing. Whenever I do try more extravagant looks, I feel insecure and uncomfortable, but no more! I am throwing those extravagant looks out the window and when other women challenge me I can just say, “this is how they do in Italy”. Thank you!

We have medium coverage, loads of bronzer, light highlight, natural blush, light concealer, nude or bright lips, uncomplicated eyeshadow and falsies are night time only. It’s supposed to look “healthy”! I guess it depends from state to state.
