Grief

This animated short presents the different ways that grief can be experienced by a person on the autism spectrum. The video was a collaborative effort of the Hospice Foundation of America and Exceptional Minds Studio for a collection of videos provided by the Autism & Grief Project.
Exceptional Minds is a nonprofit academy and studio preparing young adults on the autism spectrum for careers in animation, visual effects, 3D gaming and other related fields in the entertainment industry. Exceptional Minds and its partners are building a future where neurodiverse perspectives advance an inclusive hiring culture in the entertainment industry.
The Autism & Grief Project was made possible by a grant from the NLM Family Foundation to fill the gap of resources available for grieving autistic adults, their family and friends, professional support people, and clergy members.
