hung out with eddie a couple of times back in day at my local bar when he was living on long island when he was involved with a experimental cancer research company in smith town long island
I wonder which antidepressant it was. The amino acid could be NAC, which works in the body’s glutamate receptors similarly to how ketamine works to help with depression.
Body builders gobble amino acids daily..I took them..(Pharmaceutical grade) for 2 years..Building blocks for proteins and it attacks the brain chemicals..I have no idea why more Dr's don't use this first for recovering addicts..especially opiate addicts..
There is so much gossip, click-baiting and third-party bucket-stirring hollow tubers out there trashing everything and everyone, but your videos are always neutral and give new information that I haven't seen or heard a thousand times already. This is the only objective channel out there to talk about Ed honestly. I find that even when covering difficult topics, your objectivity is vindicating, and we need more of that in the world today!
Thank you for the kind words. Everyone wants clicks, of course. But, I don't want them at the expense of tricking anyone. My goal is to inform, entertain, or both. I'm a huge fan of classic hard rock and metal, so I always try to think about what I find interesting. And, the last thing I want to do is judge anyone, especially anyone's hero. We're all screwed up in our own way. I'm definitely no exception. Thank you for watching, and, again, for the kind words.
@@RockNewsDesk I agree with the Post above. Love what you said here, and your delivery is great. Getting to know Ed through his “email” pals and this kind of info, brings us closer to our hero. Love the channel and keep up the great work! Clicks aren’t everything….loyalty and integrity are far more valuable.
When you try to stop drinking, you experience 2 things: boredom and regret. The regret is, you think you're cheating yourself out of a good time; even waking up at 1 am to throw it up and drinking water and asprin until the sun comes up, is missed.
This was good thank you for an informative video with no bias or negativity. I see so many videos about what a bad guy Eddie was, how u fairly he treated Micheal. Maybe it's true maybe not but we aren't supposed to speak ill of the dead, especially if that person gave so much joy to the world. Ed had his demons we all do, some are darker than others. May he rest in peace and return in glory.
Thank you, and thank you for watching. I'm a huge Van Halen fan. I only want to present the story as I know it. When I make videos like this, I try to keep my opinion out of it. I have some pretty strong opinions about just about everything. Ha ha! But, like you, I feel people have demons, baggage, and trauma. People sometimes make poor decisions, but I'm not here to judge. Again, thank you for watching and commenting.
Wolf said that he and his dad got into it on tour and that when they got back, his dad went into rehab for alcohol. I think it was the reunion tour maybe? 🤷♂️
A fckn legend. Innovator of all things electric guitar

So sad. He was ingenious, a totally original thinker.

Wow!
Greatest guitarist ever.
Yes!
Electric for sure
I remember EVH’s treatment for alcoholism at that time was described as “rebooting his brain”.😵💫
It sounds like what happened. I keep thinking of the end of the Hot for Teacher video where Eddie is "resting" at Bellevue. 😄
It’s literally exactly that. Alcohol re-wires the brain unlike any other substance.
💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Could have been. Wolf seems to be a really good guy. I hope he's as genuine as he seems.
Could have been Klonipin-injury that made the other meds so debilitating.
Thats how it is. Most poor people just die trying to quit at the drug level EVH was.
I could see it.
I wish he never drank or smoked
It probably was Klonopin
Stop dragging his name through the mud, he's dead!
I'm glad you're a saint!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Let the man rest in peace. You're disgusting to talk about the dead
Thanks for watching and commenting. Those kinds of things really help the channel grow.
This story may help ppl who are struggling with the same addiction.
