With all due respect as a media company I am not supposed to be taking sides but after Marikana Massacre, apartheid and especially Youth day I think SAPS should respectively change their emblem/badge. We will never find peace in SA because their uniforms triggers the sad memories it really doesn't matter who wears it, black or white. We need to build SA as a new home. Not interested in political comments, please pay attention.

In deed, it was a very sad day, and it should not have happened.
But I have few questions to pose, as we are a democratic state, it is good and fair to demonstrate our grievances in the manner that we saw in the visuals ?
Both in terms of the constitution, criminal procedure act, and Labour relations act, is it legal to do gathering in that fashion and carry dangerous weapons?

The law enforcers also carried dangerous weapons and other alternatives to quell the situation were not considered with equal enthusiasm. Those men felt hard done by and were not considered as valuable entities with rights of reasonable demand. They had weapons out of fear, obviously not intended for use but as a means of protection becuase they knew they their gathering would attract attention and incite oppostion from the law, why were their voices not heard their grievances not met, if not partially? To show honour to the relationship between the employer, employee and industry? What is a couple of rand more when their bosses were milking it? These men demanding fair wages were exposing the capitalist mining cabal and `threatening' the money eating machine that is the SA gov and they had to die for it. Murder.
