However, I don't know if that is actually down part of the movie (haven't seen the movie in its entirety) I don't think it's part of the movie as the paint is chipping off, The only other red lockers we have are in the boys locker room (not a girl so I don't know) and those are in use by the PE classes

I also went to this school. The pink lockers are only given to seniors, and there's a raffle to get them. We would get tourists around after school taking pictures in front and there were even tours of the inside. I was in the drama club there and once a whole tour group came by to watch us practice. Obviously no tourists were allowed during school hours, though. I wish I'd taken more pictures and videos while I was there but I was just a teenager trying to survive high school!
It actually is, it's a really old school but just before High school musical was made they remodeled it. So when the movie studio was looking for a school to film in, they picked this one as it had just been remodeled. In fact West High who is the rival of East High in the movie (which is a really school near East High) is actually being remodeled soon as well, West High is the oldest School in Salt Lake City and East High is now the second, South High was shut down and turned into a college. East High was originally built in 1912.
Fun fact East high is in salt lake city utah and my mom went there for school during the time they shot the movie. My dad’s friends house was next door neighbors to troy’s house and they paid my dad’s friends family to set up props and lighting for the movie. the other house on the other side was the house in andy mack

After we won and the teams were leaving a huge fight broke out between the teams, to this day no one knows what it was over. But I guess things got messy in the aftermath. Scholarships were pulled, their school tried paying hush money to some of the students involved in the fight. I could not escape a single High School Musical joke for the next year and our school kept saying “High School Musical became hardcore” 💀

The year High School Musical came out, my high school played them for semi-finals in state football. Our side brought a cutout of Zac Efron and stuck our school's jersey on it and the student body sang "We're all in this together" to taunt them. They lost and I remember a fight almost breaking out after the game. Ah, good times lol The only thing this school doesn't have is the fancy fountain they added for the movie.

Well yeah this is a White kid school of course it's treated well and mighty. But the high school I go to is a Mexican populated school and yes it is very crowded and the school is strict btw it's called Sunset High
Most of the worst schools in the country are given the most money. But it's hard to take care of a school that has hundreds of kids that are actively trying to damage that school and even harder to teach them, as they don't value education.
Not enough I’ll tell you that much, the teachers at this school are really bad half the time and for a lot of them they got hired less than 3-5 years ago when they were straight out of college

The year High School Musical came out, my high school played them for semi-finals in state football. Our side brought a cutout of Zac Efron and stuck our school's jersey on it and the student body sang "We're all in this together" to taunt them. They lost and I remember a fight almost breaking out after the game.

Most of the worst schools in the country are given the most money. But it's hard to take care of a school that has hundreds of kids that are actively trying to damage that school and even harder to teach them, as they don't value education.
Not enough I’ll tell you that much, the teachers at this school are really bad half the time and for a lot of them they got hired less than 3-5 years ago when they were straight out of college
about nothing. i go to this school and all the money goes into the sports. all our bathrooms are torn apart, the drinking fountains are broken, the band program is non existent and the school food is actually terrible. this is a shit school 😭
