So basically the entire city is a crime scene....

The entire country is a crime scene. Millions of virtually unarmed men, women, children, and elderly were gunned down, and the ones that weren’t gunned down were enslaved for hundreds of years.

2022 and the disparity is still glaringly obvious.

yes, it is still bad. As for reparations.. I don't know.. I mean a lot of the poverty was continued under governmental laws etc... past when the families were long "gone". I mean, if anyone tried coming after me for anything LOL.. good luck... I think that we need to rethink a LOT of policies cause not only minorities are suffering .. the disparities continue with NEW "elites" and Rich folks.. some of the old Families of Charleston lost all their wealth.. I mean.. I look at my family .. (and I am also related to Johnathan Lucas who helped tranform the rice Mill in Charleston and at one point had a LOT of $$$) lost it all.. I think honestly that is one of the reasons for the bitterness of the NOrth and the South.. the South did lose alot to the North. Maybe that was justifiable but the blacks didn't really reap the rewards.. so who did?... hmmmm

I mean My family doesn't own hardly ANY property anymore YET streets are named after my ancestors and houses bear their names.. I even have a town name after my ancestor (Ladson S.C.)... but where is any power or $$$??? I don't have it... so who does? ..

@@Caelidh I will never be able to own a home here without moving away.
Until all the county's schools are funded equally, until working 40 hours week can help build generation wealth where you live and work, we cannot begin to heal this tale of two cities.
As for who has it, the investor class coming here from LA and NYC buying up property for short term/ long term rental profit. Lots of PPP money and don't get me started on the amount of Russians who were buying up everything they could last summer.

so should people change the constitution as it says that the state has the right to enslave you for breaking a state law ? or just say that it doesn't matter as they don't enforce it . not true as bail is a jim crow slavery law and california sends prisoners to fight fires but then when they get out of jail they aren't allowed to be fire fighters . isn't that slavery as no pay or cents per hour while risking fires ?

Australia has the same lineage of evil. Millions of virtually unarmed aboriginal Australians were gunned down, and tortured, over the course of a century or two. Their skulls are still sitting in Europe somewhere being kept as trophies. Do you own research.
