Thank you! Very clear, concise instructions. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their chime not ringing when the doorbell is pressed. I have the version from Best Buy (TD25), but basically the same as this doorbell. But my chime won't ring, even when paired. I can make it ring from the app, and from the buttons on the chime itself. But it won't ring when the doorbell is pressed, despite being successfully paired. It shows a solid amber/orange light meaning it's connected and paired. The settings in the app are all set to make it ring, but no luck so far. I spent 40 minutes with TP-Link support on the phone, but nothing so far. Has anyone else run into this?
When trouble shooting did you try doing a hard reset of the chime and re pairing it to the doorbell, or have the doorbell right next to it to make sure that it is not the distance from the chime that is causing the issue?
