TEW 2020 story. I'm playing as WWE at the start of 2004 . Halfway through the year NJPW got a rookie Kota Ibushi and made him a major star just to be a jobber to the stars. I had my eyes on him his entire contract. NJPW runs like 4 shows a week between 2 tv shows and tours. By the time his 2 year contract was up I made him a small offer . He's a major star and NJPW offered a much better contract then we did but Kota just asked if he could just not work house shows because his 23 year old body was declining. I looked at his health and NJPW had worked him to the bone and their contract offer required him to work every show. He took our much shittier contract just to not have to work every show.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Charles Robinson, Jake Roberts, The Undertaker, William Regal, Randy Savage, Lita, Paul Heyman, Scott Steiner (or mini Scott Steiner depending), Carlito and Doug Basham. These are just the ones I remember.

Why is it so hard to incorporate a mode like this into a wrestling game in 2021? Is it that hard? I loved GM mode back in the day but it was also extremely limited. But one thing I can't get into with these booking simulators is the fact you can't watch matches. Thats one thing I loved back in SVR, the ability to watch a match, especially a big blow off. Fire Pro tried with Fire Promoter but it's not as flushed out as it could be
This isn't a true AEW simulation unless there's a mishap of some sort in a big main event angle - good to see they got that down in their first Dynamite with Agogo shoot punching Austin Gunn's spine in half
