Y'all, the difference between George's mom and Jaxon's mom. George's mom talked to him calmly, encouraging him and all and it went smoothly, he got the best result. Jaxon's mom kept screaming for no reason and Jaxon did the worst. I think there's a lesson to be learned here. It really won't get you anywhere to scream after your kids when you give them instructions.

I feel this concept could have been great but the subjectivity of the points really took me out of the fun. Tito and his dad made fun jokes and lost points, clarifying questions lost points. I think try it again but lose the producer point person and just have them make a recipes only following instructions and let the fun happen more organically.

You have no idea. I'm 24 and my mom is more overbearing now than when I was a kid. It's one of the reasons I go to university 5 hours away from home. And why I plan to continue living there after graduation (there's other reasons, but #1 is to escape the helicoptering).
She is not controlling, she is just very protective of her son and cooking is not that dangerous but you can cut your fingers off if you are not careful and I understand why she was being like that, cause if I had kids and we were playing this game I would have the same reaction, so I wouldn`t call her controlling I would say that she is very worried for Jaxon and not wanting him to burn the food, so yeah.
