Honestly when you live in a really busy city a manual kills you especially when tired but when you get that open road so much fun. I would go for the automatic based on where I live and traffic. Either way it a fantastic car
The 2017 version fixed the engine problem with the rattling sound, there’s a much better looking spoiler, the HP was improved a slight bit, and some of the interior features got an upgrade.
I hope you find one Sunday the GR 86 for the Subaru BRZ‘s second GEN are also going to be some great options in the future. Hope you find your dream car because as of a few days ago I did with this very vehicle and pearl white. Dream follow those dreams and they will become a reality.
205 horsepower has always existed. It's only available on manual transmission models...automatic customers lose 5 hp. This is likely Subaru's way of keeping the manual transmission alive. If you want the extra power, you have to get the manual.
Can you please just give this thing the wrx fa20. Spending 30g on a "sportscar" that still gets beat by minivans is just embarrassing. There's no reason for anyone to just buy a 2020 BRZ when they could just get a 2019 brz with 5000 kms and save yourself 5 grand over buying new especially when Subaru refuses to acknowledge the complaint of literally every single review which is that this car is too slow.
Power isn't a issue for actual buyers market, opinions aside. Lightweight drivers car over outright speed with a large motorsports community. Part of the trade off when you have a fixed price point. The second gen is rumored to have gone a different direction, with little else known. If I had to guess they're trying create a different buyers market. More expensive.
@@josh6499 The 370Z is much less practical, 2 seats, has a much worse interior, worse exterior, worse handling and cornering, much heavier, worse manual transmission, but sure it's got 332hp... And a 370Z usually goes for quite a bit more.
@@deandre427 yeah pretty much the only thing toyota contributed was the fuel injection. the body design was subaru, you can see that in the original spec docs for the frs

I have a 2015 BRZ Auzora edition,I love it, and this is coming from someone who has owned 2 evos and an sti. It has a bunch of STi badges but no turbo. Please give us the real BRZ Sti with a turbo. It would sell like crazy. I would literally trade mine in for one in a heartbeat
The exercise routine added some 80's camp although they should've gone farther with the theme. Everything else except the car interior and exterior should be in potatoe resolution while the music should be a legit glam rock licence. Of course the acting couple would need to put their boombox and accompanied tape briefcase in the trunk before entering full resolution.
The fact that this cost the same as an ecoboost mustang with literally 105 more hp and 170 more torque is the reason why this car isn't selling well anymore... lower the cost
There have been no modifications to this BRZ. Any modification to a Subaru vehilce outside of recommended maintenance can endanger your warranty coverage. Please consult your dealership before modifying your vehicle.

I find it incredibly weird that they cut to woman doing probably the worst push-up formation 1:27 when mentioning six speed automatic transmission, with paddle shifters, as some form of symbolism.
I think they want to copy and get into a fight but when they did I didn’t care about the Toyota and the scion version i like the brz and the Toyota but the brz better
Tired of seeing subaru promotes the “Ej257” or whatever model when they sticking it in a BRZ don’t disrespect the Impreza legacy like that the hells wrong with y’all. Thought the car manufacturers would’ve learned something by now🤮

Yay the same car for the last 5 years.. how about you give people what they want. And sti or turbo charged option. theres a thought. But with zero to no changes to the wrx or sti why would this car be any different.
This comment hasn't any sense... They are 2 really different cars in terms of engine, power and cost (tax, fuel ecc). Here in italy the tax you have to pay every year for a 370z is double (and more) instead of the brz's tax
The 370Z is much less practical, 2 seats, has a much worse interior, worse exterior, worse handling and cornering, worse connection to the road, much heavier, worse manual transmission. But sure, it's faster in a straight line, makes it all worth it until you realize it's no longer fun and you can't actually use the car on a daily basis.
If its not turbo we dont want it. You guys are really dropping the ball by not listening to your consumers. This automobile is aimed at enthusiasts and the enthusiasts have been begging you to turbo it for the last 6 years.
At 1:17 you will note a man who can barely do a pull up and has poor range of motion. Just as you will note you can buy something like an Acura RSX-S for a 1/6th of the price with essentially the same power output. Yikes Subaru.
