Memory Lane. In the late 60s i lived in Elm Park Rd between Kings Rd and Fulham Rd and later just by The Hurlingham by Putney Bridge. Loved walking in those days. Saturday mornings from Kings Rd past Worlds End to North End Road vegetable market. Or through the Fulham Rd entrance to Brompton Cemetery to Earls Court and Kensington Gardens. A lot of new buildings now. I havent been back since 79. But I still feel atmosphere of this part of town.
That was great! A real trip down memory lane. I took that exact route hundreds of times, living off The Ridgway, Wimbledon. You could have dropped me off right where you stopped 😂. Moved away many years back now but that recalled many excellent times & people of long ago. And surprisingly relaxing too 👍
Great, clear video and love hearing the street noises! Would like to have been taken through Fulham Broadway and through Wimbledon proper but this was great. Thanks for posting!
It would be far less than. that. The journey begins near the Brompton Oratory and ends in Lingfield Road, Wimbledon. This is no very great distance, perhaps 6 or 7 miles. I say this as someone born and bred in Fulham, South-West London.
And look at my country India they never follow any traffic rule they drive in over speed and always honking without any reason.. I think we should learn lots of things from others countries.. and most important thing is we don't have a patience... we never give a side to an ambulance... we don't care for others...
Excellent please make more I am from Battersea south London , I lived in beautiful Putney for years how's ever I now live in Swansea and would love ymto see more of these shot films
Lucky at 2.45 you were on the ball and saw what that driver from the side road was going to do, quite illegally, of course. If you emerge from a side road you are not supposed to change the direction or speed of cars already on that road. Good Video, my friend.
Hi, yes,,living in London is quite expensive. I payed for one room 500 pounds per one room in share house 15 km away from central Lodnon. And it was not very nice living there.

Loved it! I lived in Bowerdean street, but I'm living in Germany for 10 years now... Was amazing to see my favourite streets from this perspective .

London is soooo vast that, probably, was only 1% of London Road system :)

Yes, that makes perfect sense.
I am 66 and tried to see all of London in my lifetime but it's impossible :)
@@Isleofskye 100 lifetimes wouldn't be enough to see all of London!
So true, my friend.
If you ask 1,000 people for their Top 20 London highlights you would get 1,000 completely different lists....:)
Interesting diversion via East Putney...

On 18 minutes classic London traffic, fortunately in the other direction though, of course, that can still hold you up !

there are too many buildings with red-brick exterior. Boring. Looks like industrial houses, factory of 19 century or something.
That's what we build them with in London. Not boring.
