    Some of my tips. Take out all 3 screws completely. No, they didn't forget your AMS. It's inside the printer. Foam under the plate can be taken out during calibration. Don't force pull them. It is not too heavy, weights less than a PC tower. Print your poop chute with the included filament so you can free up a Bambu spool. Remember, you can't use cardboard spools.

      Definitely wish they had better signage that the AMS is inside the printer. I almost didn't on package it in case I had to send it back. Could have possibly waited for a customer service reply unless I had seen somebody post about it

    I have been holding out on buying an X1C and AMS as I had concerns about the wearing of the carbon rods and them not being user replaceable, I then thought I would wait to see what the competition came up with to compete with Bamboo Lab and up to press I dont think Bamboo have anything to worry about.
    I am hoping Bamboo comes up with a toolchanger printer as this would be much more economical with wastage filament than an AMS unit, I did have a deposit down on a Prusa XL but I got sick and tired of all the delays so I got my deposit back.

    So I just received my X1C , seems the instructions and many videos never mention types of Plate this comes on it. If I lift mine up like this guy did in this video did I'm pretty sure it will crack , seems attached (probably a hot plate) , no Glue stick in my boxes, but my instructions show the same as in this video, I guess I'll keep searching around to figure out what's up

    I got a textured plate - not smooth like this review- and no glue stick in the box- apparently its random :( - not usable to me as is - not happy being expected to pay more for something you expect in the box at this price. 😥

      I got a textured plate and no glue stick either. Why is it not usable? Can't we just use the textured plate as it is and it may not be needing a glue stick? Did you end up ordering a smooth plate?

    • @AmbroseClarke
      @AmbroseClarke 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ooOnymphetOoo For my purpose - making parts of a larger machine that need to glue together with no seam showing and parts with faces that need match other smooth finish (hatches, battery covers etc) - it didnt suit my needs. The textured plate did however work - and no glue needed - just not what i expected from reviews.
      Bambu were out of stock of smooth plates - so I bought a third party one and its working fine.

      @AmbroseClarke Interesting experience. Good to know this. Thanks for taking the time to share.
      This is my very first 3D experience. Did a test print and was blown away. Also sounds like textured plate is superior ... again if you don't mind that texture. I didn't.
      Yet while trying to figure out, realized... the road of 3D nerdness does not end with filament. There is a plate geekness on the side. Oh boy.

    Bro been watching for a min now, and I’m finally at the point where money isn’t my issue, but deciding on the right printer is.
    I guess my biggest fear is buying the X1C, and having no warranties or bad customer service.
    Would anyone be able to caudal my fears?

    • @AndrewAHayes
      @AndrewAHayes ปีที่แล้ว

      I am in the same boat, my fears are the wearing of the carbon rods and them not being user replaceable, I cant get an answer out of a YTber that is regularly using these machines as to whether the wearing of the rods is a concern to them also, I think this is down to them getting review printers and not wanting to upset Bamboo Lab, I am taking the silence as a yes to them having concerns about it!

      I just bought the P1P Bambu as an upgrade from my Kingroon (super basic) printer. This Bambu is AWESOME ! Right out of the box... take out 3 bed hold down screws, Attach the spool holder and plug it in to calibrate. There is a fully automated self test that takes a few minutes. Load the bambu slicer program on your phone and computer. The phone let me tie in the printer to the WiFi so I did all that from my phone. The Bambu slicer is great. Easy to use , while still having tons of features ( I used Cura on my Kingroon). I was printing SUPER fast, high quality in less than an hour after unboxing. A friend has over 20 of these bambu's ( P1P and X1's ) and swears by them. He is running 24 / 7 and loves them. P1P was only $599, now I need to add the multi filament adapter....
