Behind-the-scenes with Parsley the pup at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary

Our first pup of the 22/23 season has arrived at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary!
Meet Parsley, who was rescued last Thursday. Just a few days old when she was brought in, she had her umbilicus still attached and an infection in her left eye. Since then, she's been under careful monitoring with our team, after vets found she was just 10.3kg - less than the standard 14kg for a new-born pup.
Now, she's being cared for in our Seal Hospital, with regular night feeds and continuous monitoring until she can reach full health and return back into the wild.
Although it's an early start to pup season, it's not unheard of - and we need all the help we can get!
