A lot will change for everybody this year, but the Chiefs always have an answer because they study and are drilled relentlessly on weird hiccup moments that may come up. Love your channel dog. Keep keeping it real and glad to see that you got some KC Chiefs dogs to come support your channel. Much love.👍
I’m stoked for the LRZ factor. Looks like how Big Red loads up most rookies-maybe even more so than others, and he’s here among giant 3-peat expectations. Although everyone seems to regard the kickoff changes as “huge”, it’s much to-do about 5 yards, IMO.
Not familiar enough yet but I like the sound of it meaning something rather than absolutely nothing. It was an abomination what they turned kickoffs into over recent years. When you get to a point where you're asking yourself why are we even doing this anymore, that's a big problem
I think they will try and put butker, louis Rees zamit, and Justin Reid each in a different pre-season game, and which does the best for kickoffs will stay for the regular season and the playoffs.
LRZ has played full back in Rugby; which means, not only is he used to catching high balls, but also kicking the ball back. In Rugby he is used to having to kick the ball from his hands accurately and for distance. And, as a rugby player, he was expected to tackle. All rugby players can tackle. Imagine a situation where it's fourth and three, the Chiefs opt to punt and LRZ is the punter. As a defence how do you prepare? Defend the punt or prepare for a fake punt with the ball now in the hands of a burner, with great top speed and agility. The guy is a very versatile Swizz army knife. And people still wonder why Andy Reid chose to recruit him.
@@scollyb on kick returns; imagine LRZ and Worthy as the two deep returners coming at you you flat out. If LRZ had the ball he could lateral 20-25 yards to Worthy, whilst not breaking stride. I really hope he makes the roster, cos the possibilities for trick plays are endless.
LRZ kicking off and returning kicks would be absolutely wild. I feel like with the changes this season, they really need to move towards a 54 or 55-man roster. We need backup kickers, or specialized kickers, and with all the QB injuries, we could probably use another slot just for QB.
Yeah at this point it would almost make sense to give a free roster spot for back up kickers or punters and a back up QB they do that amd it's 55 or 56 man and I don't think anyone really would care
I think LRZ's reps are real. The kickoff is such a different beast now. You need a bigger frame to start the process because of the close proximity of "everyone" on the opposing side, and then speed to pull away if he can find a hole in the wall to take it all the way!
Reid is too valuable as a safety to risk on special teams. LRZ would not only would be a safer bet, he would be a natural fit with his rugby background he could run fake punt runs as well.
As a rugby fan and former player, the second you said they want the kicker to be able to tackle I thought "Cole's gonna say Justin Reid but LRZ almost surely is the better kicker". Sure the rugby ball is different but I'm pretty sure almost any rugby back can kick a ball downfield confidently and with decent precision.
@@philpeterson7182 if LRZ were back there he would be a huge threat to fake punt. And you know he’s a better tackler than any punter. Honestly I’m not sure how makes the team any other way. I hope I’m wrong cause I’m excited for him to make the 53

He's played full back for Wales at Rugby. The guy is used to kicking the ball out of his hands for as far as possible; be that aiming for an open space, or as is often the case in Rugby, into touch (over the side line). He has a boot like a howitzer. So you have a guy that is comfortable catching a high ball, can kick from his hands, can tackle all day long (as can all rugby players), has blistering top speed, is an elusive runner and can throw a lateral 20-25 yards whilst running at full speed. The possibilities for trick plays are endless. Andy Reid and Dave Toub are going to have a field day with this guy. They'll be like kids in a candy store.
@johnhearn5644 I'd add he can also pick up loose ball at speed and is a pretty good at kicking of a stand. Although I don't think he did that much in games
Really liking the new camera angle youve been using on occasion in the last few videos, the small perspective shift adds some emphasis or humor. I'd also consider adding some more decorations or artwork that can be seen exclusively at that angle. All things considered I think it's a great addition!
LRZ will absolutely be on the roster as 3rd RB and kick returner and Justin Reid will do the majority of kick offs certainly ones not intended for touchbacks and both will make a huge impact with the new rules, their versatility and also LRZ being a player teams will have no initial tape on and Andy and Pat can mold him into whatever plays or package they want. Guarantee it
Chiefs starting to see the versatile skill set you get from a rugby player. Another thing to consider I thought of after hearing that teams may try and kick the ball in to space from kick offs - this is prevalent in rugby and LRZ is used to picking balls up from the floor whilst on the run or sliding to secure the ball on the floor. Also on starting reps - they may be trying to give him reps but either way they definitely see the potential
Kicking's very much a part of LRZ's arsenal. And yes, he'd be expected to tackle and cover the field in rugby so makes sense. Hell, in an emergency he could probably do a job at safety which is the Gridiron equivalent of a rugby fullback. Though I'm more excited to see him on the other side of special teams and at RB.
You mentioned a few days ago that K.Toney purchased a motorcycle in Atlanta. So where did he disappear to? Do you really believe that with his hand-eye coordination he could possibly survive a motorcycle ride all the way to KC

I love the fact they're using LRZ for returns. It's straight forward work, just requires speed and agility and he has both in spades. Can throw Toney out there a bit too if he's even healthy. For kickoffs, that's hard to say because we haven't seen who's more consistent with their reps between LRZ and Reid. But I would support whoever is better going out there over HB who I really don't want to see injured trying to make a tackle or something dumb. The main thing is, we clearly have the right personnel on the team and our coaches are good enough to figure out who goes where.

Serious question here: If Zammit's got a leg, why not turn him into a punter? Having the option to run it with an elite pair of legs is intriguing. Would be awesome to see him squib kick and run after it!

Regarding Zammit kicking . . . how far can he kick the ball? And just a curious question about rugby - why do they flop down after they cross the goal line? ? ? ? That seems so unnecessary.
They ‘flop’ in rugby. Because to score a try (touchdown) the ball must be placed on to the ground in a controlled manner. Crossing the goal line doesn’t automatically mean you’ve scored
@@DubFreakFreerJust a little detail. The dive makes it harder to hold someone up on the line. But it's often just showing off. LRZ can comfortably punt the ball 65 yards plus.
Hi from UK,Zammit can definitely kick the ball...hard, also the American ball is smaller and lighter, diving on the line has become a tradition, but if you weigh more than 200 pounds and you are airborne ,you would need a gorilla to stop them touching down a try

@@DubFreakFreerOh! This makes me even more thankful for Walter Camp.
Hi from UK,Zammit can definitely kick the ball...hard, also the American ball is smaller and lighter, diving on the line has become a tradition, but if you weigh more than 200 pounds and you are airborne ,you would need a gorilla to stop them touching down a try
Let James Winchester do kick offs
Dude has been getting crushed for 10 plus years being a long snapper
Time to let James get some payback
The Chiefs are gonna punish Buetker without punishing him.Sneaky sneaky
If he gets paid the same amount then it's no punishment. It's less work for same pay
@@ChiefGore429
If he is still under contract his pay will be the same unless he signs another contract for less money
@@keithschmidt5700 But, maybe kickoffs were in his contract
That bugs player has to go
Is it fun being wrong about everything 🤦♂️
Outside his Hook…. (Frog Me Daddy) Hooo… yeah Hooka Buisness. Lol
I wish I was live to toss in a 🐸 when you spoke of Buggs buisness nearly going full “Justin Tucker 60yr old” quote 😂😂
Question: Is KC trying to set the record for most warrants over stupid sh#t in an offseason?
I thought Tommy was at the Texans
Players need to turn into homeschooled kids for awhile. No socializing or dangerous activities 🤔 😂
Why even stress about it, had any of you heard of this guy? No, and now we won’t again.
Butker should be tackling. After all, he’s so masculine.
What did you say at 7:35? Sounds like you keep saying Andy heck
Any word on Curtis Jacobs???...
I feel like pushing the police chief into other officers gets you in a fight immediately.
That Hookah story sounds like something Drake would come up with
Yo I think I saw you the other day do you drive a white Chevy by any chance?
LRZ is gonna be punting and returning kicks
Might as well just remove kick off at this point
But Butker is a rEaL mAn AnD sHoUlDnT eXcUsE hIs MaScUlInItY. Great idea from Toub but what timing😂
Nico will beat out Skyy Moore.
There's plenty of good players out there--don't need any confirmed abusers, violators, etc on the team. Just my opinion.
Chiefs home games are going to be played at the local town jail, they'll be the team in orange
Veach made a killing. Left tackles don't grow on trees. It'll be done.
Where is MICOLE HARDMAN?????
Dave Merritt has this huge booming voice and probably wants all the boys wanting to date his daughter to come meet the parents first, knowing some will be scared to talk to him.
What's the police blotter got for us today?
