Dude, you and the “StayFlexy” guy would kill in a collab, your combined workouts would be legendary. 🤘🏽
@TheRausing1 I think they are different enough for us to appreciate them both for their content. I see Hybrid calisthenics using more functional strength and large muscle group exercises, while Movement by David (stay flexy) is more focused on functional flexibility and joint health to gain strength. Both kings.
peaple saying "have a great day" never really affects me but when you said "have a beautiful day" actually made me have a huge smile
Fun fact - Tesla liked to troll annoying journalists and the story about toe exercises that you mention was one of his jokes. Glad to hear that he is getting mentioned in any capacity tho (didn't expect it here lol), he is seriously underrated as a historical figure and scientist!
Except that we know for a fact that kids who walk barefoot develop higher IQ and wearing socks n shoes all the time negatively impacts IQ
You think it is impossible for a genius to notice the neural activation ?
Leonardo Davinci said exercise improves mental wellbeing centuries before the medical journals you trust were even in print.
Now it is a well known fact. But why you guys fight these clear observations is beyond me ...
Nature is really obvious if you just observe.
@@Mayank-tm2kmTesla was THE guy for working with the electromagnetic fields. You’re telling me electromagnetism isnt a fundamental science?
This is probably the nicest guy on the internet. And if he's not nice in real life, he's one heck of an actor. Either way, he deserves some kind of recognition.
I remember where he came from. His heart has always been in it. Been cheering him on
@@FactologyThe man in the video… there’s only one dude in the video. It’s not hard.
@@Factology Don't worry bro, not everyone has seen women close up to know the difference. Cheers up for your safely guarded virginity.
I left out a clip where I talked about the strongman The Mighty Atom who apparently could use his grip to change a car tire without tools - he was like 140lb too. Feats like this are hard to verify nowadays, but I found it interesting. Similar to the Nikola Tesla one.
The clip ultimately wasn't included because I think it may bore some people, but I wanted to mention it here!
The Mighty Atom was certainly something. The Hercules of the 20th Century If his deeds were indeed done
It’s cool! You’re always so nice, your vids put me in a good mood
hey man, I've been following your content for some time now...
You helped me with my first pushups last year, I just wanna say your attitude and energy is really inspiring... keep going.
This has to be the most wholesome videos that are on TH-cam. Thank you kindly
That scapular pushup is going to help out a lot..
I've seen it before and didn't think much of it, but it helped me recognize some tightness I had in my chest. I'm not sure how common it is, but it surprised me how long I've been walking around like that.
@@HybridCalisthenics Yeah, muscle imbalance is such a pain in the neck.
@@HybridCalisthenics We use them a lot in circus conditioning, particularly for aerial apparatus work because you need shoulder engagement to stay safe in the air 😁
@@HybridCalisthenics I need to try this (after consulting my doctor) since after I had 8 vertebrae fused which involved cutting into the tissues connected to my scapular muscles I’ve lost a lot of strength in that area. It’s so bad I can’t lift 15lbs over my head because of the lack of scapular muscle strength. If I’m given the go ahead hopefully it will work
He always looks so effortless. I want to exercise to be healthier and stronger but I really struggle with motivation.
the more you do it the easier it gets, even if you only do it once a week eventually you'll want to push yourself further
Schedule yourself to spend two hours a week looking for and interviewing an Accountability Partner, a person with whom you will exercise and or be responsible for finding the joy in exercising for each other! Best investment of time ever please know that just like friendships somet times you need more than one accountability partner and you could go through several in a lifetime that's a normal arc of relationships
So, I know people think everyone doesn't have adhd.
BUT the people who have non adhd brains aren't posting in a youtube short about not having motivation to do the things that matter to them.
If it's a lifelong pattern, you probably have adhd, if it's a recent pattern, you might be burnt out or depressed etc.
But either way talking to your primary care physician might help you get started down the path of dealing with it, of it's neurochemical the primary care can get you started trying things, then you can decide if you want a psychiatrist, but you could also decide to just do therapy to help you figure out how to fix your life. Adhd often needs both.
Thank you bro!!! You inspired me! No lie, I was over 300 lb and now I'm at 188 took like 3 years, but finally, worked. Body weight is an amazing workout and sooooo many different exercises I'm also inspiring other around me. Again just wanted to say thanks and show your work is not in vein

I come across this guy a couple times every year since like 2019-2020.
Same consistent genuine goodness.
You're awesome bro
You're like an occupational therapist! Loving the connection of exercises to daily activities!!!

Wow I love how genuine and approachable healthy movement is with him!!! Like, I don’t just mean “working out” or “stretching” or even “calisthenics”. Like, my dude has a grasp on LIVING through MOVEMENT!! One teeny tiny change is a change nonetheless and will contribute toward your goals.
The fact that you exercise in nature grounding, touching the earth wow.

I have no desire to work out. But thank you for being gentle, compassionate, and considerate. It’s missing in todays health equals diet and exercise culture

Idk why but this guy just makes my day better every time I had a bad day I always come to watch his videos because his personality/sense of humors cheers me up
I've never thought of doing a scapular pull one handed before. That's a brilliant idea. First you taught me how to do my first pullup (you son of a gun) and now you're helping me to do them more evenly. Thanks Hampton
You are such a wholesome man❤😊
You walk the walk! People need to see these examples of fitness. You really have a uniqueness to you. I love how you focus on functionality. What a great example of a human body at its true purpose and pinnacle, able to achieve so much, and stay in balance. You also have fun with it. Keep inspiring others! I’m nowhere near as fit as you but I’m intermediate level, and seeing you move, makes me wanna push myself to prioritize exercises, and just more movement in general, every day. So much better than watching a superficial person in a ridiculous little outfit doing reps in a gym to show off their “hotness.” You could smoke them when it comes to actual fitness.
In your opinion, is it possible to be fit doing things at home and without going to a formal gym?
Hey man, I just wanted to let you know how much you helped me get stronger. Before I couldnt even do 1 knee pushup, and now I can consistently do 8-10 smooth push-ups! Your progressions really helped :>
I always enjoy the wholesomeness in your voice when you explain things. So cool
God I love how positive sounding you are.
Thanks again, Bean! 😊

The last one's gonna help a lot! Been realising that my left scapula is a bit imbalanced
I love it when he says “have a beautiful day”
THE KING HAS RETURNED! WELCOME BACK. come back please.
For some reason, my “unusual” grip strength, as you put it, is and always has been super super strong. I can tighten nuts with my bare hands and I rarely use a screwdriver for turning bolts. I’m also quite good at opening pretty much any jar.
You make the best videos. Thank you.
you always make my day better hampton :)
Thanks
idk why but this mans voice is so calming to me 😭
Scapula exercises?... I needed this so badly! Thank you!
Such a relieve knowing even you dealt with imbalances. I've been back to lifting for 1 month and was feeling like a complete sucker for my slight chest and lat imbalances 😅
I am always amazed by your videos. When you hang by one hand, it looks like you weigh nothing at all. I know it's not effortless, but it looks it.
Is there anyone on this planet that could dislike this guy? I say no.
FINALLY, I FOUND THIS CHANNEL AGAIN. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU MY FRIEND. I've gotten better from the exercises you've taught through a video on Facebook. I'm much more flexible than I was a year ago.
hey hybrid, you're easily one of fav workout guys to watch across any platform. a lot of my friends say I should do calisthenics and that id be really good at it. I wanna mostly follow in your steps. I think you're cool and I think what you're doing is cool. if you have any tips or goods solid workouts I'd be more than happy to read over and incorporate it into my workouts/stretches
This man is insanely strong, I can't even wrap my head around it 😮😮
Great vid, as always. Toe exercises are great for trail running. I run in sandals( Z-trails for shorter, faster runs, and Lunas for longer more gnarly trails.) The highly technical trails in NYS require a lot of balance, agility and I used to get toe cramps on anything longer than 10 miles. I still get them, but now I can go longer before they hit. Functional fitness exercises are so important, I’ve discovered as I get older.
Thanks for the ninja advice Itachi. Best big brother ever.
I can’t even describe the motivation I got from this video
The return of the king
His "have a beautiful day" is my favorite

So helpful! Any exercises you can recommend for leg muscle imbalances, both calf and thigh? I was born with a club foot and muscle has been an issue my whole life. It's now causing balance and mobility issues. Thanks for everything you do to help us stay as healthy and as able bodied as possible!

Last one helps a lot
Your videos are so helpful!! Thank you 🫶🏼
I love this dude.
There is 1 more sub you deserve it amazing video
I love your videos dude keep them coming but one recommendation can you make a video about stuff to do for balance cuz I’m always tripping on myself or like half falling sideways
Here are the 3 exercises types:
-"Unusual" grip training (fingertip pullups are an easy adjustment)
-Toe emphasis (easy adjustment on calf raises)
-Scapular exercises (done for PT reasons but the stability increased strength potential)
This is just a follow-up to the previous video! If you're new here, it's just for fun and not a dedicated fitness routine (we have a thorough free one on our website, or you can just Google "Hybrid Fitness Routine").
I tried to pick ones that genuinely have helped me and aren't just unusual for the sake of the video. And again, I didn't pick the ones related to reducing pain, since that's a different topic.
Not sure how many in this series I'll do, since the point is that they're relatively unusual exercises, and I only do so many. Maybe one more. Not sure. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful day!
you should do videos with your wife.
