Waited for the payoff and it never happened: the dropping of the chimney at the right of the frame. The demo started off aggressively and then the operator started playing "dainty fingers" and didn't even get the house knocked down by the end of the video. Disappointing...
I’m not sure why they were so delicate near the end. They did finish the house but the camera stopped recording due to low battery. As for the chimney I was going out of town the next morning so I wasn’t there to film it.
@@destructionnation704 I apologize for my "bad mood" comment made above. I certainly knew that what I was remarking about was not within your control and do not fault you for it. I have noticed on many other demolition videos (from other videographers) that demo operators often seem to be "playing to the camera", apparently wanting to demonstrate their skill at being able to finesse the removal of one, tiny element from a structure. I came up with the term "dainty fingers" for that reason. Had the operator used the same "let's get this job done" approach in your video with which he started, he would have had the entire structure leveled within the the 1:16:42 video length. Thanks for what you do!
you're good, I feel a lot of that myself too. I love that term "dainty fingers", and will definitely be using it! what you say makes much sense; the guy in demo #13 had the exact opposite idea go as hard as you can, lol.
I love watching demolition.
nice demolition
Just curious: Is there not a way to attach a mister to the top of the boom?
That is only done on high reach excavators which have built in water lines along the arm. For a small project like this there is no need.
