OMG you really got me in the end. I was watching you do this and thinking "I've never felt so lazy but I'd rather just buy tracing paper" and then you showed how easy it is to renew the paper after use. I'm definitely going to do this.

It's a messy 5-10 minutes to make the original piece, but I LOVE that you can just replenish it and use it again and again. I think these also work SO much better than the store bought ones.

I use mine for ages! When they need a “top up” I just add another layer or two of graphite. 😊

You can also use crayons to do the same.. That would be a cheaper option..

Crayons are good if you want a permanent transfer, but if you're going to add ink or watercolour they aren't ideal.

This may be a strange thing to ask, but is the paper somewhat transparent when completely saturated with graphite?
Asking because I need something with this texture for a costume visor. It would be right next to my face (graphite OUT) so wondering if that would be visible through?
